If I remember correctly, the Notification Icons for 1.7.1 are backwards-compatible.

I am having an "issue" with the Flight Mode Toggle Switch - anyone else have this and/or know of a fix ???

When I turn flight mode on via the Toggle everything is OK. However, when I turn flight mode off via the Toggle - my Taskbar indicates I am still in flight mode. The phone is actually NOT in flight mode and I can place/receive a call and then the taskbar icons show that I am in normal mode.

When I go into Comm Manager and do this (turn airplane on, turn airplane off) it works correctly.

And yes I realize I dont need to use the toggle switch...i can just go into comm manager but since the airplane mode toggle is a feature of CHT i figured i'd see if there is a fix.

Any help is appreciated...

I remember hearing a few days before it was released that 1.8.5 was "a thing of the past" so does that mean there will be an upcoming release of CHT in the next few months with even more baller status upgrades for us..!?!

First, thank you so much for including the HD2 (i believe) lockscreen for those running 6.1

This brings me to a possible bug that I have been encountering. I have set the device to lock when the power is turned off.

Upon waking the device up I swipe the lock bar up of course and my home screen loads up real fast(nice) BUT My clock is edited to small left with weather under it and small analog to the right.

Problem- about 50% of the time my clock will switch back into the Huge mode and I will not be able to swipe to my other home screens. Everything else will work perfectyly though so its very tolerable.

Soft reset will fix this, but man that is the beauty of running a 6.1 rom with your home mod because its lighting fast and STABLE, If I wanted to soft reset frequently I would run a 6.5. :P

I posted the same thing in the xda topic don't judge me for copy pasting this :-$

What's up people,

Does anybody know how to center the ( using wide portriat) skin softkey & taskbar, so that it doesn't set on the left side of the screen (wallpaper)? Meaning, when I set the wallpaper it doesn't set in the center wallpaper ( the skin taskbar & softkey ) It set to the left of the picture. If somebody posted a fix already, mybad... I'm at work and didn't really have time to go thru the post. Or have this problem been address already, or will be it be fix with the new Cookie coming out. If so my bad. If you can help me out. Big Thanks

This guy is a frickin genius!! I just upgraded my touch to a TP2 a week ago and this solves most of my gripes. stops the clock from flippin, adds more Home screen tabs, makes everything easier to edit and makes it look orderly.

Thank you very Much!! Man version=2.5.20121324.1 wmo 6.5

PS. What is the best weather program(free)? I lost my stock one somehow. and have been using touch weather, wich isn't bad at all.

Wish I could say the same. I've been running 1.8.5 since launch and it gave me issues with Sprint Stock ROM. However, I just had the phone replaced due to firmware issues, so I may give it another shot in the future.

Are you guys experiencing any problems with the toggles? My flight mode toggle is acting up - it works for placing the phone in flight mode, but not to take it off. In addition the weather animation toggle seems to not be working either - can't get to turn weather animation on at all (How would I turn weather animations on anyways, if not with the toggle in CHT?)
Thanks

I've seen this question asked several times. I'm also experiencing this problem with phone and flight-mode toggle switches. Phone switch turns it off, but won't turn it back on completely. Any ideas what's up? Or should I just wait for v2.0?

just curious, is there any way you can add a scrolling real time stock ticker/ espn scores/ cnn headlines to the home screen? or as part of an animated lock screen? just like the classic Windows 95 marquee scrolling screen saver, will that be cool?

Re: {{Manila Mod}}Co0kie's Home Tab v1.8.5{{19-Jun-2010}}

First off, I love CHT. It's SO nice to cram so much stuff into one screen!

One question...I tried to search but unfortunately my super generic searchstrings yielded result-after-result-after-result...

Multi-day event/appointments show up for every day of the event. For example, I added to my calendar my dad's vacation from Aug. 17 to 29. On my homescreen now, it gives me a separate "appointment" for each day...so it looks like this:

multiday
Dad out of Town
-------------------
Tomorrow: multiday
Dad out of Town
-------------------
Sat. Aug. 21: multiday
Dad out of Town
-------------------
etc
etc

Is there a way to collapse multiday events into one line of the appointment section of CHT? I don't mind if it's on my homescreen every day of his trip, but I don't need 7 lines of it if I'm showing 7 lines of appointments on my homescreen.

I'm on a Sprint TP2, stock ROM, Win 6.5/Sense 2.5.20121324.1

Thanks guys - GREAT work on this stuff!

I'm on stock and love it. I haven't had any problems, just oddities (like I posted above), but everything's functional and beautiful!

hey santod,
firstly i would like to thank you for the best addition to windows mobile.
I cannot tell you how much of a difference CHT has made to my WM experience.
I dread at the thought of going back to stock now.lol
btw
noob question.
please dont flame me for this...

is it better to have CHT cooked in ( i am using timberwolfs v10 CHT) or is it better to have a titanium rom and then load CHT?
what would be better for memory?
thanks in advance for your help.
cheers

Loving the CHT on a new rom. One question though... any way to change the icons for the "random wallpaper" button? And the other specialty buttons?

They are put in the windows folder, i believe, just like the ( call history, voice, txt) with the file starting like this "CHT_" 4 ex. CHT_email.png

Just name new icon the given name the copy/paste/overwrite to your windows folder

Have heard its faster when cooked in.

But as 4 the titanium ( default ui) it wont work. CHT needs sense ui because its an add-on not a replacement

Havent heard santods voice on the forums in awhile…hope everything goes well w/ you my friend

thanks a bunch for this. I watched the video and I checked half a dozen times never could find that stinking Banner Edit option Seems I just never swiped far enough DOWN for some reason its the last option.

The No Clock background only removes the background from the FLIP clock. it does not remove it from the "date clock" skinny options. (ie no flip clock)

how do I remove that background?

also is there anyway to get weather WITHOUT the flip clock. IE just weather (transparent background as well)

anyway to add MULTIPLE clocks to one screen? you see CLOCK alone and DATE alone are nice no background no extra's but I have to pick one or the other not both.

When I pick date and clock it adds alarm (which I actually like) but also adds the background.

Just wanted to add while the program is great what I really like is how INTERACTIVE santod is with the users. That is something many never really appreciate till its gone.

You can be short and gruff with people (I like that NO BS say it like it is) and some people need a little kick :-)

Keep up the great work! looking forward to more things from you and cookie home tab

I've searched & searched.. read all the first page.. , the last few... looking for
transparent "compact flip clock" (NOT the "no clock background" cab)

Would like to get rid of the white behind the numbers...

?? anyone ?? what did i miss?

Re: {{Manila Mod}}Co0kie's Home Tab v1.8.5{{19-Jun-2010}}

I wonder if the get rid of the white cab for the normal clock would work on this one? I am guessing no? I would really like to just get rid of the clock all together and just have the weather info without the clock

ahhhh yea, and which post would I find that in? Or, was that a joke? I guess i'd call that... "transparent"

Going to have to rub the sleep out of my eyes now... tooling around on autopilot, ran a couple cabs cht 1.8 full transparent tasks app.. & trans notification bar cht... and now NO SENSE at all... makes no sense :>))

must've been for the wrong version or something... who knows... hmmmm i'm probaby on 1.85... suppose there's a whole other set for that... gotta be on your toes for this one... tried to restore cookies to default & then import a back up cookie menu... nothing

so, be warned, lots of cabs all over here, some old, some new... will have to reburn my ROM... (which is ok as it's been almost 48 hours now :>))

*edit* Don't get me wrong, THANKS Santod for the amazing work... I don't envy him... so many OS's, Sense versions, Cookie versions, ROM releases, variations enough to go insane. Needs a full time release manager & a couple more threads!!

recommend reading up on how to use cfc-gui, then you can get rid of anything you want. more work than doing cabs but it's work to find the right cab sometimes too. like one removes unwanted background entirely, another makes them transparent but still clickable, another makes them partially transparent, yet another makes it look like glass with nice edges. pain in the ass finding just what you want. learning to edit your own is easy and you can make it just how you want. try post 19. clock stuff is under the home category. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?p=1923022

or for cabs, http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=102324

the orologio one rocks but it's better with a custom clock font on that nice glass flipper

Thought I would share something, When CHT Hit I added the small music player to my home screen. Well this last week I removed it from my home screen and I have gained back about 6% memory back. Just thought I would share and see if anyone else would see if they get the same results. BTW I am running MightyROM Full Force so its a 6.5.x rom.
