I was actually doing it to keep the two separated.
They are two different projects and both have their own respective thread at XDA as well. I suppose I considered that it would help from clogging Bignadad's thread for MaxManila, with somewhat irrelevant info.
However, I realize not everyone sees things the same and I appologize if this was taken in the wrong manner. I had no ill intentions in making my thread and have already discussed working on this project with MaxyCy.
I really don't understand the ugly vibes lately, but am truly doing my best to be understanding of others opinions and trying to ignore the comments made with truly ill intentions. If it would make everyone feel better, I will gladly delete my posts in the other thread and the mods can close it.

By the way, there are many threads made linking to others work. What difference does that make if credit is given? I suppose nobody should share their findings anymore!

i would have to agree with santod here......
this thread is for MaxManila which is a mod for Manila 2.5
santod started a thread for MaxSense which has nothing to do with manila

only reason i posted here it just because it's made by the same person....
i was not giving updates or anything like that, i was just saying here is something new coming out from the same person that makes maxmanila..

i think we need these threads here linking to others work, bc XDA is a whole different world..... i guess because its mostly GSM.....

please just appreciate what we do.... santod and i are not taking credit for this work. we just offer it to PPCG and also offer support.....

Not working at all.. the reason is because the new mode9.home file has some changes in the new 2011 version..... i suspect that ol maxycy is working on something as i am typing.....BUT FOR NOW I AM STICKING WITH MANILA 2.5.2011

all i can say is wow.... have only used a couple hours, but it reminds me of manila 2.1's speed...... it is snappy and seems like the phone can ACTUALLY HANDLE IT! for those who are hesitant i will report back later with a better conclusion....

any interest in a video on how in performs.... i could put one together and post on youtube.....

New MaxSense Project

Good news is this part is completed and fully functional.

Clock Screen
This is where your clock and all notification indicators will be here. When an alert comes, it will automatically scrolls out to display the message and miniminzed when none.


I'm still undecided where I should put this yet. Right now, you can see that I have it located on the left side of the screen but the weather panel has slowdown the speed considerably and I may consider using this as a lock screen instead.

I'm reserving another screen for information and settings panel.

And, yes....I've planned to have the top bar scroll down like in Nexus.

Ok....that's the progress right now. Still a long way to go.

FYI, based on a post I saw about someone getting 2.9 to work with 2011 Manila by cooking it in, I tried it and it DOES work.

I took the maxmanila 2.9 cab file and converted it to an EXT using a cab to EXT converter found over at XDA http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=525302

Then I dropped into Calkulin's 1.5 b3 kitchen and built a 2011 ROM using a 28223 SYS and it seems to work great. EVERYTHING seems to work
