Oh, ok...so there is a Titanium_240x320 and a Titanium_320x240 cpr. As far as the GUID's, the new panels show up on the today screen without changing the GUID? Would someone with a qvga phone mind posting their original .cpr files in a zip for me to double check something?

here you go hafrust..... hope this helps you... i like this soooo much over m2d and i wanna tweak it as much as i can...
i was able to add as many pages as i want to the launcher panel - i can create a new panel if i sacrifise the launcher panel - but i cannot see the new panel i created except when it is highlighter - so its there - just not visible if i have the launcher panel visible - i guess i can tweak that tooo - but need ur help... i am trying to create like a contact dialer shortcut panel just like m2d - and maybe expand it to have many cities weather panel -

Okay, I can verify that the GUID sets whether or not you can re-edit the item. Using the GUID from CLinks, I then see an * in the configurator. Problem is: if you leave that GUID, the item goes blank (but usable) because of the duplication.

I took those .cpr files, modified them to 640x480 et al, and loaded them up on my TP. Hopefully they will do something.

Make sure you are following all the instructions, step by step. If you try to come up with your own concepts too early, one is bound to make a mistake (like I did), and they won't show up.

Most important concept: You need to choose a GUID that can already appear.

This post is for QVGA devices ONLY!!!

OK...here are the QVGA modified cpr files. I did NOT add the section for the "Settings" Panel b/c the values there in my VGA cpr's seemed odd and I was bound to screw it up if I tried converting it. If you want to enable the "Settings" panel, you will need to add that section to the Titanium_240x320 and Titanium_320x240 cpr's. You can compare the VGA versions I posted to these QVGA versions to see the difference between them. I don't have a QVGA device to test them on, so that's why I'm leaving it to you all. What these CPR's WILL allow you to do in their current state is add a new panel using the welcomecenter GUID, plus it will fix it to where your icons will be displayed.

Hafrust - just tested ur .cpr and they are the bomb - now i got everything to display - my contacts, my programs - everything and with the right pictures too...

one small problem though - my programs is a little off - as in it is indented a little bit outside and its not in line with the rest - what layout should i modify to get it to be in line.. ???

Any way you can post a screenshot? I may have screwed something up when converting values in the cpr from VGA to QVGA. That's good to know about you being able to use the welcomecenter GUID. That should help anyone else who is using that ROM or a similarly built one.
