So, I have a problem with the Oct21 version. I know there is little if any support for this one, but I'm pretty confident what I need is a basic fix I'm not getting... my text messages insist that there is one unread message. Any idea to get rid of this "ghost message"?

Stock. Rarely, if I am having a long convo with someone over text, I will use the PocketCM app. Other than that, just the plain one.

Hmm...that kills my theory then. That sometimes happened when people would install the threaded SMS without deleting any they had in their stock app.

Maybe just a hard reset to a different ROM then? any recommendations? I was thinking of going with dcd's "not so clean" ROM.

Colonel will be coming out with something soon if you can wait. I think its going to be the 2girls1cup edition, but that may just be the testing name. No2Chem also has a pretty decent one.
