Click on QLINKS on the nav bar, and then click on Open FTP Site. Just navigate around and you'll find lots of things there... just be careful with what you download as anyone can upload there.

Did he put any .txt files in this one? I know the Oct2 rom had one, but the Oct7 one did not... :S

I think the reason he hasn't yet is because its likely he doesn't want EVERYBODY to be flashing this rom right now. It's kind of a beta thing, where you get to guess the changes - but you can be sure if colonel updates it, he is doing it for good reason. I have been happy with all of his custom work so far.
 Just think if everybody started flashing this... the gurus here would be up to their elbows in "Why doesn't this work?" and "You BRICKED my PHONE! OMGWTFTUNACASSEROLE!" I am sure once the process is streamlined a bit more, he will feel more comfortable with more public information. Till then only the 4ard[0r3 and d3d1c@t3d need apply...

These are all just test roms. That is why there is no writeup or real support for them. If you want to try them and know how, feel free. I am working on a simple way to create a change log, but right now I don't even remember.
Now, if you dont like different programs in your rom, they can all be disabled to the point where you would never know they are there. Hell, you probably dont even realize how many apps come with a "clean" rom that you never use. Again, having this apps included does not take up any of your usable space. If you dont want them, just disable them. If this is still a problem, dont flash custom roms.
