Is this a 3,5 rom ? i loved the last one....or is it a baked rom for wm6 (that has apps built into the rom of course )? Colonel, if this is a wm6 version of your last 3.5 rom sign me up. That 3.5 was killer. great apps choices too.

Now, if you dont like different programs in your rom, they can all be disabled to the point where you would never know they are there. Hell, you probably dont even realize how many apps come with a "clean" rom that you never use. Again, having this apps included does not take up any of your usable space. If you dont want them, just disable them. If this is still a problem, dont flash custom roms.

What about the splash screens? Your lightning bolt thing is cool (even though it hung my device the first 2 times until I did a hard reset), so I don't mind holding onto that. Very Jerry Bruckheimer of you.

But the opening screen with the purple Titan text and the following black windows wallpaper with the 80's style tech font that says "Loading" is just too cheesy looking for me. I work in graphic design and I try to give everything I customize a polished graphic look. (I'd hate it if any of my coworkers saw my phone reboot!)
Any chance I could render some images to take their place for you? Or perhaps, could you have a version that leaves the stock splash screens(they're not pretty, but at least they don't look custom built)?

Or, is changing that very simple and I just didn't know about it?

Also, why does it skip the first boot screens after a hard reset where it aligns the screen and sets the time? These are things we end up having to do anyway (my alignment was off at first until I realized that I have never set it on your ROM), and I live in an eastern standard time zone. I figured it was probably just to avoid the short start tutorial (cut & paste, etc...), but the rest of that stuff is useful and we have to go into settings and do it manually which takes just as much time.
Just my opinion.

If you don't like the splash screens, those are easily editable, just use nbhextract to dump out the splash screen, and gennbh to generate new ones.

If you don't like the alignment thing, just realign from settings. One of the annoying things about wm is that you have to practice copy n pasting and alignment.

If you are too lazy / ignorant to do any of these, don't flash a custom TEST rom.

Its not a matter of being lazy / ignorant, its just that aligning the screen and setting the region is something that we have to do manually ANYWAY, so it doesn't seem silly to force you to sit through it on a hard reset. It takes just as much time to do it yourself as it does to click and hold cut, paste, and the next button a few times. I do hate the cut/paste tutorial, though...

Hi colonel,

Can you tell me what dial pad you are using in your custom roms? Provide a link to it, maybe =)

Thanks in advance.
