I do not have an X next to the address bar. I did, however, press to the right of the address bar to pretend like it was there. Sure enough, it stopped the loading! Despite the fact that it is not showing up on my screen, it still works if you press it. It's the "ghost X" Thanks.

Glad it worked out for you. Weird that it's not there. I running 815 (I think) and it's there.

I'm running 815, and the x is definitely there. The beauty of programming. It's not an issue if you can't duplicate it ;)

Great. Something to do before I go to work.

Edit: Ok. Is there a way to change the dialer skin on this build? I changed the today screen to the HTC Default but the dialer still has the "Default Blue?" skin.

Also, is there a way to get the device to recognize pics on my SD card when wanting to send a pic msg? When I select "Add a pic" it only allows me to select ones from the device. Is there a setting or something that I'm missing here?

The CAB's that the installer asks me to install in the latest ROM, are any of them really necessary or are they just all the original sprint stuff?

The cabs that it asks to install are not part of the rom. I am using tier autoinstall in case there are some cabs that you want to install on initial flash.

I did not place them cabs on your phone. Those cabs are either on your sd card or in extended memory.

I recomend not installing any of the cabs that it asks unless you have placed that cab on storage card for the purpose of installing it.

People don't get confused on this. The cabs are not part of the rom.
I can do away with this if it gets too confusing.

JUst let me know. It does not matter to me.

Yes there is a regedit that I can include in next build. I can't remember what it is exactly right now. Some one might know it though. I will look this evening cause I intend to fix the stop button icon in PIE also.

Hi mattsm:

I have my HTC MOGUL PPC-6800 with Titan_21815_BBS_RUU and I would like to test your new ROM 23001 but I have a question for you...

What are the differences between 23001 Sprint bare bones and 23001 Sprint?

I'm in Mexico and my carrier is Iusacell...What ROM do you recommend me?

Thanks & "Think Different",

The bare bone is exactly what it says no dialer skin or contacts skin as well as some programs.
The none bare bones has icontacts, a dialer made by jdume, has some other apps like sprint telenav, htc album, psshutxp, pocket rar, wififofum, arcosoft for sprint, a fingerkeyboard and a few more.

They both have total commander and oxios hibernate and advance configuration, nue kernel control panel.

Update on mms. If I navigate to the pic though All Pictures I have the option to send it as an sms/mms but still get the failed message. And then sometimes selecting send does nothing (no menu). Weird I'll test it out a little and see if I can find out what's going on with it.

Are they in the root of the SD card? Or in a subdirectory? I was given about 6 of them to install.

I'd prefer it be removed in the next build if you don't mind. Also, could you remove the battery and ram meters? And the Live Search program updates to Bing, and it's annoying having both icons in the Start Menu. Finally, would you mind adding Office Mobile?

Re: Windows 6.5 21812,21815,21820,23001.

I just installed 23001. I've only been using it for about 5 minutes, but I like it better than 21815. I have the missing X on the internet explorer, but I use skyfire, so it's a non-issue for me.

Do you have the office mobile cab handy? I use Word a fair amount. I miss that from the 21815 build. Gotta get used to the finger keyboard.

By no means. bbsandkm is a fantastic chef. I have learned quite a bit. bbsandkm is one of the reasons I am doing this. Besides the fact that I enjoy it as well. bbsandkm's skills in this windows mobile goes beyond mine. bbsandkm deserves a well needed break, cause there is time invested in this.
I am trying to do the best I can and I hope everyone is enjoying these roms. I will take nothing from bbsandkm.

Now: I am home and am going to work on some things and prolly post up an update tonite.

PLease do give suggestions on these rom as some have.

Re: Windows 6.5 21812,21815,21820,23001.

I have another suggestion (since I'm good at those). Build 21820 had the option of having the default battery meter icon in place of the clock along the top menu bar. I'd love to have that icon back in your next release (currently running 23001 and loving it).

I also like the calculator skin you included in 23001, but I feel that it doesn't really match any of the themes. Could someone provide a link to the 21820 calculator skin?

Re: Windows 6.5 21812,21815,21820,23001.

Ok: I can now go to sleep.
First post is updated with a b version of 23001 for both downloads.
Both have the PIE icons fixed. Both also now have microsoft office mobile.
Removed tier auto install for right now. No confusion.

The bare bones rom in version b has the battery in top bar. If you want to get rid of the meters then open total commander and navigate to windows\startup. Delete dcibattery and qwertymemory. Then soft reset.

I will be working on some of the other things mentioned in this thread and a few other things.

If anyone wants to know, In my opinion the 23001 build is best.
Tomorrow I will be cleaning up first and second post. All of the older builds will be organized in 2nd post. Post 1 will have current builds.

enjoy

Good job mattsm (and Tplane!).

Here's a couple I've mentioned in irc, but since I am at work, I don't get to check the replies very often... so I don't know if you've caught them.

1> ClearType is disabled by default. Fixing this makes it look MUCH better :)

2> (Personal Preference?) The "Start" menu is back to 3 columns. I much preferred the 4 columns. If you want to keep the 3, then perhaps post a link to the 4 column cab in the first (or second) post. I'm starting to have too many geeks/xda links bookmarked! :)

3> Hmmm... the Sprint TeleNav you've included.... umm... I'm with Verizon... even install the VZW Carrier CAB, but for some reason... IT STILL WORKS! Authenticates and all! It says there is an update, which then will not download, (at least the webpage works out that I'm not a Sprint customer). Anyone else have past experience with this? Will I suddenly get a bill from Sprint? lol

4> I don't remember if you do or not, but DISABLE the Windows Live entry in Titanium. It uses a huge chunk of memory, which may be the cause of some people saying they only have 11 or 12 meg free!

5> I think I had more... but I can't remember.

6> Always it has been said "do a hard reboot after install" (Hold down the soft-buttons while pressing the reset button). I normally do this once the first boot gets to "Tap the screen to setup..". Is that the best time to do it?

Ok, enough for now... today's a super busy day at work, so I may not be on irc.

1. note taken
2. there will be another start menu for non bare bones
3. sprint telenav working on verizon? working? I don't know but you can not get a bill from sprint.
4. windows live is already taken care of.
5. I will ck in my irc logs.
6. I do my hard reset when I see the first splash screen. Does not matter when just as long as it is done. I removed tier so after you hard reset and it boots up. Go ahead and do a soft reset also after that for best results.

Thanks anton.
