Very cool! I'll be glad to try this one out and post feedback. Just to double check, is this compatible with the carrier cabs so I can use it on Alltel? Also, was bbsandkm talking about your work when he said he was testing a ROM a few days ago?

Should be just like any of the other builds that have been released. Just install carrier cab. bbsandkm cooked with verizon. I am on sprint so I am cooking with sprint carrier. But it should not be any different. But do let me know cause I can cook another carrier.

I do believe bbsandkm was refering to my rom.(bbsandkm is a great asset to this community)and so are you btonetbone.

I am using 21501 and I'm wondering How do I change my favorites so I can take Internetexplorer off, it sucks and I keep getting an error with it. It would also be nice to add or remove everything in the items screen instead of just having windows default, I don't use email on my phone. Does your version deal with this?

Here is chome editor 1.6

with that you can add and remove panels from the titanium screen.

how do i install this?

bertrenolds 06-23-2009 02:05 AM

Re: Windows 6.5 21812 and MORE too come.

I found the chome editor and it worked nicely, not exactly sure how to create a panel and make it work and look right but it is possible, whish I had some directions. It's easy to install, run activesync and explore and drop the chom editor onto the phone and then use a file explorer to go to it and open it. Putting chome editor in your 6.5rom wouldn't be such a bad idea, it makes sense to me that it would be in there.

Can you tell me where programs like dotfred task manager are located if I cooked it in a rom?

Would be nice trying your roms as well.
Shall install soon and post feedback.

Re: Windows 6.5 21812 and MORE too come.

really nice build you got here. best 6.5 build in my opinion based on the fact that this is the only 6.5 build that can stream my orb movies smooth and high quality, other builds run orb streams extremely choppy and low quality. i dont know why the other 6.5s do this but this is the rom iv been looking for. keep up the good work.
On another note, internet explorer is acually pretty fast as well!

Just one comment/issue on the text message screen sliding the keyboard in and out causes the device to turn off and requires the battery to be taken out to allow for a reboot....or it could be becuase of my f****d up refurb.

Chome editor is easy and very handy as I have now found out! Now I am wondering if anyone know if their is a 6.5 panel .cab file or something that allows you to put your top friends in it and call them easily?

Also as a side note to answer my own question, a program file that is cooked into a rom is located in the windows folder as either a .exe or .ink.

On the turning off when sliding keyboard? Don't know I have 3 phones and none of them are doing that.

I do not have rev. a where I live. So to be honest I do not know. You could be the tester of this. Maybe installing a dcd carrier cab would reinable if not. Even if it is sprint carrier. This just needs some testing.

What's the difference between 21815 and 21820? So far, I'm loving 21815, but if this is a worthy upgrade, then I'll download it.

THere will always be some improvements with each build. Some noticeable and some not. I will be cooking another 21820b soon. I believe this will be the one to upgrade to. Seems alot quicker. Gonna be a couple of hours before I upload though. Making some adjustments to it now. Give me alittle time, cause I am at work also.
Thanks for your interest.

Take your time. I'm not rushing you. I appreciate your hard work.

Will the 21820b for Sprint have the Sprint Navigation, by telenav? I liked having that on my stock 6.1 rom from Sprint, and it isn't included in the 21815 build.

If anyone is interested.
I will cook a loaded version to go along with the light version.
Post your preferences. I will work on this and post a heavy version this weekend.

Also has anyone looked at the new google mobile app. in the start menu to see if it is worth cooking.

Back to the business for a while.

Is the gray explorer background in 21820 the default? I'd prefer white.

Edit: I thought this was suppose to be considered a "light" ROM. How can I restore the default Contacts and Dialer interfaces?
