Only problem so far is a biggie...can't enter passwords in opera mini? Instead of displaying * for characters in all previous roms, it underlines the character and mini will not accept this! Bummer..love the speed of the rom, but without mini sucks. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm going to have to update my ROM use as I also have been running up to 4 ROMs because of following your ROM usage. =D>=D>

Edit: I forgot to add I really like the FDE look and I could not wait and opted for the b ver. Will give some feedback TM.

Thanks for your interest. Please let me know which version you like better.
I will run with that one this weekend.

I will be working on a c version this weekend. I will try and solve this issue. Which version? and has it been this way with all versions?

Version 4.2.14320 - I flash my phone almost weekly and this is the first time I have ever experienced this - weird.

Thank you for all your efforts and time - it is appreciated.

i had that problem on one of bbsandkm's roms. i think it was the first 218xx build. he fixed it on later versions. i'm not exactly sure what he did though.

As mentioned (just one whole page ago)... after installing the ROM, go ahead and install the Verizon carrier cab. Which you can find here, or over at xda.

This build does have tier autoinstall if you would like to install carrier cab on initial flash or after a hard reset.

This is a quote from the first post. If you have Verizon, you do not have to install the carrier cab. You can just change the voicemail number to *86.

That would be fantastic. Sorry for my rudeness. Wouldn't be able to enjoy these roms at all if it weren't for people like you.

BTW, do you know how to completely remove those annoying pop-up notifications? I know how to disable them from appearing on the screen, but they still show up in the bottom menu bar every time I get a missed call, text message, voicemail, etc. The superscripts that the Titanium home screen offers seems like a worthy replacement.

Ditto for me as well, concerning a bare bones ROM as I use Device update. Tried the Google Mobile App and it says my device not supported for YouTube, but that is ok ,as I usually watch YouTube with either Skyfire or the YouTube App or just tether to the laptop. Also the Modem Link, is that for Sprint users as well? I like the Finger Keyboard and the fact that you did not add any games. I am not sure about nueLED or nuePerformance but would like to see the program or reg entry that gives us access to the extended ROM area. But all and all the ROM is sick fast and no glaring problems to my knowledge. I only downloaded 21820b, but will check out the c when you post it. :headbang::headbang:

Nice work. This was the first time I've flashed my Mogul with something other than an HTC ROM. Went off without a hitch and wow, this is a major improvement over the stock.

Is MMS supposed to work? I'm on Sprint and it doesn't send at all.

As far as Google Mobile App goes, skip it. I've never found it very useful.

Hi,

I've installed the 21820 and now i'm having problems with the wifi. The wifi picks up the signals but doesn't lock on for long enough to get connected it find the router for 2-5 seconds then not available comes on and it just keeps repeating the same procedure.

any ideas?

I prefer mini....faster and I can accommodate the memory requirements. My Titan just struggle too much with mobile. Yes I am in himem mode, I can run it but I just prefer mini.

+1 on preferring Opera Mini. It's a very handy tool. As far as entering your passwords, I have found a trick that may help you in the future. You can back up/restore your settings from flash to flash quite easily.

The directory \Windows\appdb contains all of your info - cookies, caches, Opera Mini settings and everything else. Simply make a copy of it after you have everything set up and make it part of your post-flash routine to replace it to the original location.

Unfortunately, it may not help you on this go around, but it's handy to have this info for future use.

mattsm is currently working on a fix for this, though, so you'll hopefully see it soon.

I will add a few in the loaded version. You can search for cab cause there is one around somewhere.
I am still trying to solve some issues before I release another. Believe me it has been a long day. Please be patient folks. It just might be monday before I do everything I need to do.

You might want to check out an app called Device Update as it has a lot of apps that developers keep updated. It is like an App store. Check it out here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=480476.

They all start in the upper 20's on a fresh flash. But that will most likely change after you set up any programs or settings of your own.

Is there any way to change the gray background in the registry? It would be ok if the system messages were not still on a white background;

Thanks. I was just trying to get a base. I tried both 815 and 820. 820 seemed to freeze up a lot more. Will play around with it more this week.

That's been a problem with a few recent builds. I THINK Matt said he fixed it in the barebones build. Either that, or try one of the other built-in themes. Ron Arad Orange is working just fine on my phone.

Either you did something really wrong, you have programs running that you don't know about, you are in low memory mode or you are experiencing a combination of the three. Because that's abnormally low.

I guess anything is possible. I just reflashed my phone with the barebones version and closed EVERYTHING, and here are my readings
Program memory free: 17.05

Do you know if you are in high or low memory mode?

Start - Settings - System - Kernel

Edit - Also, what did you need to close other than possibly ActiveSync? Nothing should be open.

I tried a few of the other themes (color schemes from hell, IMO) and switched back to the "Classic Blue" and it looks fine now. Thanks for pointing out something I should have know to try. :drunken:

If you don't use your camera all the time you can switch back and forth between high/low mem.

I found 815 to be more responsive and stable overall, but 820 fixed the weird bug I was having with texts (end a text with a punctuation mark, send, then the punctuation mark gets typed again) so I'm sticking with it. Ram wise I don't notice a huge difference

Don't know much about it yet. It is suppose to be an ext. of 218xx builds.
