Is it much work for you to create the full package? (Your normal "SPRINT" version)? That's the one I prefer :-)

I will do one tomorrow morning, gotta get some other things done tonite. I don't mind doing it at all.

This would kind of hide the other items on the desktop except for the one that is being looked at.

Its a nice ROM

Not sure exactly all you are asking here. Are you saying for example the clock panel: You want it to take up the whole screen between the top and bottom bar? therefore when wanting to see any other panel you would have to gesture up or down? If so then yes this can be done.

You can icrease the panels sizes by editting the cprs file for titaniium.

ya, there are some "what I will call themes to do that". But if one wanted to do it themselves and knew what they were doing, then one can just edit the titianium cpr files with notepad on their pc and do some customization. You can change the size of panels, the names of the panels, the fonts, the color, ect.
I would save a copy of them for backup, cuz if anything is not right in them then the titaniium will not show at all.

There are two files. One for portrait and one for landscape.
Titanium_240x320.cpr
Titanium_320x240.cpr
Both files are located in the windows folder on phone. After the changes are made then just use total commander to overwrite them files and either reset device or refresh titanium by going into start\settings\today and look at items and exit while looking at items.

I just picked up a used Sprint Mogul / Titan for my wife today. She is coming from a Harrier/6600.
I've been doing a lot of reading!

What is all in this one compared to the normal link in your first post?

nothing, you can go off of that.
I guess I should have called it something other than full. It is still a light rom so user can customize.

Here are the 23506 builds. I will be really busy these next few days on the TP2 stuff I am working on. Please help in this thread when you can.

Many thanks to marky-b for getting you downloads without having to wait on 4-share.

How's the TP2 going? Any luck with getting a custom ROM installed?

I'm seriously thinking of moving to the DRIOD, once my contract is up, in mid Feb. Unless something better comes out first. :-)

Everyting is going real good. I have been running my own rom on TP2 for a while now. There are a few issues we are working out, but coming together nicely. Anticipating a release of the new ppck real soon, like within a week. Guru did make a comment in chat that maybe over weekend.
Here is a link to his updates. http://www.ppckitchen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=989

I have learned a tremendous amount of stuff these last couple of weeks. And intend to incorporate in the titan roms as well where I can.

So it sounds like you have been busy. I very much appreciate all that you have contributed here. Just got the wife the Sprint Hero and I am considering the Moment when my contract is up. Can't afford the TP2 but for now still tweaking the Titan. As always you :headbang::headbang:

For those following the whole thread, my issues with the screen going black or the hardware keys stop working after waking from sleep state appear to be isolated to the 6.5.1 releases. I dropped back to 23017 and have not experience that specific issue. 23017 appears with my setup to be the most stable currently. I tried 23504, 23081, and 23075 all which had the blanking/hardware key problem.

Are you loading the full or barebones loads?

and does it happen immediately after flashing or have you added additional apps?
if so what what apps have you installed?

I had the issue on one or two builds. But, I've been using 506 for a while now (and 504 before that), and there has been no "fail-to-wake-up" issue.

I will start by saying thanks to all involved. The new rom "Mattsm_Titan_23506_Sprint_Full" looks very impressive. I flashed my Mogul (Sprint) today and I liked it. One question, how do I fix my internet connection with my data plan. Opened IE but it does not dial #777 as expected. I appreciate any help on this.

@seeneed4speed:
I have tried both the full and barebones and barebones + carrier cabs. It appears to happen more frequently (not consistently) when more apps/memory is consumed. If I had to guess I think the "lock" application does NOT fair well in low memory situations and causes this to occur. BTW I run in mainly low memory (camera) mode.

It does not dial any number. I noticed that in the connections setting, I only have two options: (1) My ISP, (2) My Work Network. From the connections settings -> Advanced -> Select Networks, there is no setting for Sprint. I believe that is the problem.

Last night, I did install danny's "DCD Carriers Cabs" for Sprint and that put the Sprint Network settings back. Does anyone know where and how I could get my office programs back? I could not get it back with the update from microsoft website. Thanks for your help. One observation though, why does it go back to the home screen whenever you exit a program, instead of taking you back to the previous screen from which you lunch the program. Ex. If I close a program which I opened from the program menu, instead of taking me back to the program menu, it will go to the Today screen.

That's normal for how 6.5 (well, 6.x I think!) operates.

As for office... there are CABs to install. Do a search on this site.

OR - Install the "full"/"loaded" version. It has office already included.

Hi,

I noticed that the "X" button would close programs but does not remove them from memory. What do I need to do such that the "X" button would close a program and remove them from memory as well? I currently use the Task Manager to close running programs in the background.

Thanks.

Am I the only one experiencing memory issues with 6.5? I'm noticing this the most when I use ANY browser (Opera mini or IE). Without fail the browser will cause my phone to want to 'close programs'. And this is with high memory/no camera set!

Is there a fix for this problem? I'm seriously thinking about going back to a DCD 6.1 ROM.

Memory issues are somewhat of a problem on the titan with 6.5 or 6.5.x builds, but can be accomplished by shutting down apps properly and using the oxios that is included in rom. The best 6.5roms for the titan IMO are the 6.5 builds(23017,21874) not the 6.5.x builds, Although they are fine also when staying on top of them. I have both throughout this thread.

After I get some more things done here that I have been working on, I will be releasing some more builds with both UI.

As for memory on the titan, it is crippled compared to the newer phones that are out. With that said the titan IMO is still a great phone. Just not the best.

Hope all have a great Thanksgiving.

Re: Mattsm 6.5 com5 23506

Well just an update, I am still running 069 and it is running great. Sometimes I run it with the M2D Mega but usally with the stock GUI and no battery issues unless I leave the internet on all night. LOL I just checked the memory and it is in high with the barebones and I have 19mb. I have alt-tab hooked to my Internet button (the one in the top right across from the email button) and I easily switch between 3-5 programs regularly. I checked out the new phones and I am not convinced to upgrade (on the Androids you can't put app on the SD card*deal breaker for me) I do like my wife's Hero but I am hoping for HD2 or another WinMo 7 type phone in 2010 unless they blow out a super Black Friday or Cyber Monday deal as I like loading stuff on my SD card. And as long as the wonderful cooks keep making my Titan work so great I won't switch. Thanks for keeping on Mattsm, and so many other whos names I won't mention but you know who you are. I applaud your efforts and appreciate all that you do for us here at the Geek and at XDA.

Thanks, Matt, for info about memory issues in 6.5.x. I do like the better finger-friendly GUI but there are still some issues that I miss from 6.1 or earlier.

BTW, have you seen SPB Mobile Shell 3.5? I wasn't much of a fan of alternative GUIs until this one. Definitely "wow"!

Yes, I was actually using SPB Mobile Shell 3.5 with some modifications on my TP2 before the Hardspl was released, very good app.

I have release a TP2 rom, which can be found here http://www.ppckitchen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=1073

That rom is for the TP2 for those of you who don't know.

I am now going to work on another rom for the Titan. This rom will be back to the com2 builds. It will look very similar to my TP2 rom. On that link there are some screen shots. I have new splash images as well that I think you will like.
Thank you for your patience.

How about tonite?

http://www.ppckitchen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=1088 this is a full version built to match my TP2 rom. Well it can't match it but tried to make it similar.

I have gone back to the com2 branch, mainly for best stability. I have started a thread with my new rom at ppckitchen.org.
