Mattsm,

I must say thanks to all your works, it is second to none. I applied build 21882 and it appears to be the fastest of all your builds that I have tested. Unfortunately, I do notice that sound volume dropped significantly with this build. I welcome any suggestion that could help me improve call volume. From the above link, I noticed build 21887, but there is no arrow that shows that it is for titan, is it? If it is for titan, would the "HTC Mega Volume Control" resolve my call volume probelm with 21882 build? I am facinated with speed and touchyness of 21882 that I am hesitant to change it. Please I value your suggestion on this.

Thanks, and as for the 21887 it is an udated version of the 21882. There is a post on what was added. So yes it is for the titan as well. 21887 is the newest build number.
I have TP2 roms as well on that site, but not that thread. I will put the builds for titan on top of all links so this will be understood alittle better.

I will test the volume late this evening. I use my TP2 as my everyday phone. and I won't be home till this evening.
But do flash the newest build 21887, that way I can look at it for volume. It is a better build anyway. Lemme know how the vol is on it.

Mattsm,

Thanks for the new build (21887), it appears that it has a better call volume than 21882. A little increase would be much better. Question, how could I get to the "HTC Volume Manager" and the "Rings" folder. The "Rings" folder under my "Windows" directory is empty but I could still se the ringtones from the "Phone" settings. Once again, thanks for the good job.

You cannot get to a volume manager. An increase in volume would be a regedit only. I need to refind it for you. Cant remember right off. Now you are hitting the speaker in top bar and increasing from there, correct?

As for the rings folder being empty, that is normal. All rings are in the windows directory themselves. If you want to add a ringer that is not on phone then you can just drop them in that ringers folder and it will be recognized in settings so that you can select it.

I did not get time to look at anything last nite, I was working on sense 2.5 with landscape support on the TP2. I say working on, but really testing some stuff last nite with joojoobee666. <---That guy does some amazing stuff.

Happy New Year to all! (Hi Matt!)

Well, it happened... for Christmas my wife suprised me, and got me a replacement for my 6800. A nice new Motorola Droid.

I don't know how... but web browsing on the Droid is about 4 or 5 times faster than it was on the Titan. Same network, same phone number... everything the same, except for the device itself.

Anyways... thanks too all for the many ROMs... you gave my titan a much longer life than it deserved! :-)

I have tried two builds (23506 first, and now 21887)in the last 3 months. Great job on them both. One question about the voice command. Both builds i tried, the voice command was not functional. Is this by design? Is there a way to get it working, and if so is there any drawback to having it enabled?

Yes voice command is gone in my builds, POS anyway. Also by not running voice command there is a gain of needed ram for best performance.

If you want it then search for a cab here somewhere.

Please foregive my ignorance, What do you mean by "Bare Build"? It sounds like just installing the OS without programs, correct me if I am wrong.

On my previous post, you promised to send me a registry fix for the low call volume. Does anyone know how to increase the call volume on the titan. I have full build 21887. Thanks for all your support. I am very grateful.

This is a bug with Windows Mobile itself. It's happening to people on stock ROMs, custom, 6.1 & 6.5. All across the board.

Hi Matt,

I loaded your latest ROM and it looks great. I have a question. It seems I have 2 dialers showing up on the phone. When I used Sprite to restore the phone after the upgrade it probably merged one that was on a previous rom of yours I was using. I think it was 23053 if that rings a bell. Sprite did not port the add / remove data so I can't find a way to uninstall it. Your new dialer looks much better. Any ideas or is there a cab just for the new dialer in 21887 so maybe I can overwrite the other dialer?

I wlll try and get back on this tonite, I started on it last nite.

The volume is already at its max, dunno what you have there. Make sure you increase the vol while in a call for louder earpiece.

Yes Bare has very little programs, mainly OS.

Yup that is correct, That is the fix for now, next release will have that taken care of.

I need to see screen shots as to what you are talking about. I have only one dialer include in this rom, and the link to cab was posted a few posts back. You can try to install that dialer and see what you get. If all else a hard reset is in your future.

Just flashed 21187 (was using 20364). Don't have much storage, 119MB is in use. (Program memory is good, 18MB). Is this normal for 21187?

Just want to say, I have never even tried to make a theme before this one. Sorry it tooks so long, I was having problems with it and did not want assisitance on it, so that I could figure out what was going on.
Please tell me what you think, I have a handle on it now.

The cab only copies the tsk file to your device, you will need to select theme under today settings.

Thanks Matt,

Reinstalling the WB 6.5 dialer got rid of my dueling dialer issue. Now just one more question. I can't get wmwifirouter to the HTC wmrouter to work properly since upgrading to 6.5 The programs both run but my computer fails to find the wifi signal. I read others are having problems too so I'm thinking it is something with wm 6.5. I did get it to work once on WMwifirouter but it has not since. Any ideas?

No those numbers are not correct, On a fresh flash of the 21887 they are

Storage
In Use should be around 16mb
Free should be around 109mb


Have no Idea right off, maybe someone can help here.

Although I am not from Texas (I did live there one summer, placed called Graham, outside of Dallas) I do got to say that is a nice looking theme. On another note, looks like I am done with the Titan as I went thru 5 in less than a month (what a pain, part of my story is over on "are they still giving out refubs") and now I have a Treo Pro (it will do until Sprint get a snapdragon or better phone) Just wanted to say thank for keeping my Titan going as long as you did. You :headbang::headbang::headbang:

i'm getting immensely frustrated. earlier in this thread i mentioned that i was having trouble getting the camera working at all. i flashed a new radio and the camera started working. now, however, the camera is working but only after a soft reset. if it's been some time since a soft reset, i'll get a memory error. even after a fresh flash and no apps... and this happens on EVERY ROM.
does anyone have any idea whatsoever? thank you

I just reactivated my ye olde Mogul. I loaded your 21887 build. FANTASTIC!!!!

I look forward to a build based on 6.5.3.

I cannot get WiFi to connect to my router.

Also, I did notice some redundant apps loaded that could use removing.

Also, can you load the latest windows live / bing app? Skype would be awesome too.
It may be that loading Office 2010 Mobile (even though its beta) would be an improvement.

Your setup for Titanium is also awesome. Love the facebook integration!

Yes, I appreciate your comments but here is the situation.
I am working with the TP2 ATM and still working heavily on issues with it.
All the apps that you mentioned are updated with newer versions in the kitchen. You do know that you can download PPCKitchen and cook with what ever apps you want(or leave out the apps you don't want).

There is the kitchen

Download and install
Run updater after installing
Open the kitchen, make your selections and hit play.

If you want the "Perfect Rom" : Spend time working with it, creating your own oems that are not in kitchen, adding your personal registries, adding your preference on customizations......ect.

I do plan on making another titan rom, but not much has really change in any of the build numbers, it is the same ole stuff.
As for apps that are currently on a rom and out of date, install the newest cab right on top of, it works.
I do not plan on building a titan rom with builds 6.5.3 UI, IMO the screen is small enough as it is.

First off welcome to the site.
You need to read up on some things before you start.

As for the question, this rom will work for any carrier(with the appropriate carrier cab)<< That is in the first post of this thread.

All of my roms have NueKernel. The kitchen has it and selecting the NueKernel Control Panel is a must for the titan.

I am using the 21887 build for my sprint titan 6800, how do I install my contacts from windows live. There is no windows live app. I cannot install my email address also from windows live. From the home screen I tap setup email then tap windows live then I put in my info hit next and it wont create an account it just brings me back to the setup screen?

Well I found a windows live cab in another post and that works.
