This is actually a good breakthrough for us, if your not using the camera constantly, stay in high mem mode...otherwise, stick to low mem.

Their is no, and will not be a "fix" for this to allow more memory.

That was it, I did not unlock it first. I forgot that Sprint replaced my phone 3 weeks ago and I hadn't updated recent enough to remember to unlock it with an outside program. I used Olipro 2.4. It is at 74% right now.
Will the phone stay unlocked from now on?

Once unlocked now you can flash custom roms all you want. Phone will stay unlocked.
Some carrier rom like the stock sprint rom that the phone came with contains a bootloader also. So as long as you are flashing custom roms or roms you cook you are good.
