Official WinMo 6.5 RC1 is out!
 

The OFFICIAL Windows Mobile 6.5 RC1 is available to all Titan users.

This is an official RC1 release. The ROM is clean and is not customized to any extent. I will later be posting my own custom ROM, but until then...

Tplane37 has a link on XDA developers website on the releases for the Titan. I am mirroring his ROM until i can create my customized version.

Is there any way I can add this to the Kitchen? After I test it out, being a base. I wanna add on my stuff. Shouldn't be much. I've been making my roms look like WM6.5 lol. So it should be nice. Hope this runs smooth.


***EDIT*** Installed. Looks great... Runs ok for how much space it took. Just a Base? I only have 12.42mb free after first start up.
***EDIT V2.0*** Has some sort of memory issue. I installed MemMaid, did a full clean and got it up to 22mb of free space. But just letting it sit around for a hour, I picked it up and checked the memory and it was down to 16mb of free space. My Built Rom I can keep at 20mb of free space. So I dunno whats wrong, or is this how it runs.

Check that your in high mem mode too. Just in case.

Same here, i noticed the same issues with mine. But remember that this is an official release from microsoft. Which means that they may have no cleared up all the issues that someone else who's not a dev did.

When i make my new ROM from BuildOS, I'll check and see what the memory is like, if its dropping in high mem mode, I'll switch back to 21500 and use that.

you need to unlock your phone first, and then write the ROM.

DON'T FORGET TO THANK TPLANE37 OR MYSELF (preferrably him, I'm simply mirroring and linking, but it would be appreciated :))

cant open the communication manager, neither through the hardware button nor through the data connection icon.
Any work around?

Is this rom carrier specific? When I looked at the 21501_Beta_1.0.txt it said the carrier was Verizon. Is this okay to use with sprint?

It's from Verizon. You should run one of DCD's carrier cabs to set things straight.
