Check the infrared settings. Apparently that's on. Also use Scrap's Advanced Config and tweak the power settings there.

Do you mean the BEAM settings in Connections? It does say that accept beams is not enabled. What other infrared settings do I need to check?

Yeah Chimp that's the setting. Try Advanced Configuration then.

Re: nueROM3-206 w\ PPCKitchen BuildOS (Updated 1/29/08)

Decided to jump off the wagon and become a flash addict again.

Seems to be working fine, although I will probably reflash to add a program or 2 that I forgot.

I added to the BuildOS Kitchens folder:
nueROM_UnifiedKitchen-206-206-spack.rar
dan_drivers_titan.rar
nueROM_UnifiedKitchen-206-206-spack_Titan_Core.rar

I did NOT overwrite the Projects folder, but unzipped the zip file, found
WM6.1_96DPI_QVGA_NueROM_0409_BuildBase.txt
and added it to the Projects/Groups/BuildBases folder and found
Titan_WM6.1_NueROM_DeviceBase.txt
and added it to the Projects/Groups/DeviceBases folder.

I selected them in Build OS under the Open/Create a New Project tab, but then overwrote that with Mr.Obvious' selections text, which had the same first 4 lines and many of the programs I wanted anyway. This winds up in the Projects folder.

Going on a week between flashes and still running smooth and stable. I haven't had any of the battery draining issues. This is great.

Learned this right here at PPCGeeks, but don't remember who to thank for it.

always a must, actually there's more notifications depending on the rom/device. I've attached a mortscript that removes them all (if it's not there it will give an error, but does no harm (YMMV). there's also a few extra notifications included, but disabled with #

How do we get that to run? (the attached Mort script?)
once the changes are made can the SPB backup remember those settings in my backup file?

Re: nueROM3-206 w\ PPCKitchen BuildOS (Updated 2/3/08)

Also I may try to build another ROM but I need someone with a 6800 to test it out for sure. But if it is the case I can get a build working like mine (since I don't have my selections.txt I originally used) then I will let you know.

Anyone want to guinea pig their 6800?

Re: nueROM3-206 w\ PPCKitchen BuildOS (Updated 2/3/08)

this is the selection file I used, and it's been working fine for a few days now.

I wonder if those with trouble are not selecting .net cf 2.0 (still req for many apps), also select no when build os wants to replace .netcf3.5 files (it will overwrite no2chem's files with buildOS files [I choose to use no2chem's built in])
also are ppl putting their token in the windows folder (I find storage card flaky for this)
