I have flashed mine 30+ times since hacking to make GPS work. I have not seen any negative effects. 30+ is a conservative estimation. probably a lot more time than that.

You have to flash your phone with a rom .. all thats did was unlock your phone to use custom roms all you have to do now is either build your own with PPC Kitchen or download someone rom file

Re: WM6.5 build 21501 kitchen

Whoever changed the look and format of the board, that's okay.

But, how many people reading these can read yellow or light blue against a white background? (Refering to the OP of this post explaining the kitchen, etc.)

A little more tweaking of the layout needs to be done.

Just a thought (Personally, I liked the white on darker background. The choice of poster's colored text also shows up more easily)

Yeah, I agree, it can be hard to read. At the top right of this page there are theme colors you can choose from and also on the very right a background color of blue you can choose. Play with those to get it looking how you want. There is always Ctrl+A to make it easier to read those light colored words.

P.S. Yes, "a little more tweaking of the layout needs to be done"... by you. Hooray for options!!!

Re: WM6.5 build 21501 kitchen

I noticed that after I loaded 6.5 on my Titan I keep getting the dialer popping up after changing settings or opening and closing the keyboard. It seems almost random but somewhat annoying. Anyone have similar experiences?

I also notice that even though I installed no task manager I get odd X buttons showing up in programs at the time. Sometimes it says "ok" or just a larger than normal X button to close the program. I wanted to see if it this build comes with a task manager built in?

Re: WM6.5 build 21501 kitchen

Have just upgraded from an Apache to the Titan. What do people suggest is the 'best' GPS program TomTom? And where can I 'obtain' a copy with New Zealand maps. I don't have a data plan with it so would prefer to not use Google Maps due to data charges (unless there's a way to use Google Maps without data?) Ideally want turn by turn instructions. Any other general advice on good Titan programs would be appreciated.
