I'm using both on 6.5. However I moded the Manila2D OEM so it doesn't include Google Maps. Just so I could install it seperately on a different storeage space. Tryin to keep this running smooth...

So far today was my trial run with my kitchen built rom.

I got Manila2D, Manila Theme, All the Manila Add Ons (Maps is moded onto the ext rom), I'm running Oxios and MemMaid... If I soft reset my phone, it starts with 18mb! I think thats pretty good... but I don't know why, without using it, it dropps to 15-13-10... If I use it like to make a phone call or what not... by the end of the call I'm at like 6mb. Why is this? Oh yeah, I'm using the High Memory setup, so my camera is disabled. I'm like constantly using Oxios and MemMaid to keep it running at 15mb. No complaints so far, Except the new IE is a little strange. Maybe I need to play with it more. Takes a lil while longer to load (ghey) and I can't read any text... it zooms waaaaaay far out. Dunno if I like this or wanna install something else. Even tho I dislike all the others. I'm gonna give it a week before I decide on going back to 6.1.

You built it, so build one without that problem. The ones we build don't have that issue.

ok so on the selection for what os to run all there is, is 6.1 and it wont even let you change that or anything. is this normal? and will the rom turn out like the CR1(Tplane)?

Re: WM6.5 build 21501 kitchen

They said in previous posts when I brought that up, that its strictly cosmetic. All you need to do is select the 6.5 Build, Titan 6.1 base and go from there.

Also try not to add soo much, this build is 10mb bigger then the last 6.1 release... Alltho I have to say it runs quite nice with less memory, than 6.1 would... I still don't like the little memory. My phone has finally flatlined at 12-9mb of free space after using it for a little over a week now and having everything setup. And I'm using the High Memory mode, so I have no camera.

Problem with BuildOS / Updater

I have a problem running Updater. Whenever I start Updater, it immediately terminates without any messages. I have uninstalled / deleted PPCKitchen.org directory / reinstalled BuildOS, and I still see the same thing happen.

Any ideas?

Re: WM6.5 build 21501 kitchen

so I created a rom using the kitchen starting with a new project. I selected latest 6.1 release 21042_0409. during the selection process I chose HTC_Camera_Titan and nothing from the imaging section. When I try to run the camera app it gives me the untrusted certificate error. What do I need to do to get my camera working.

I am new to the kitchens. I have been using DCD's roms since I have had my phone but now that he has stopped I need to try something new.

Thanks.

I know .NET 3.5 being absent can cause similar problems.

do you know if it can be installed after the rom was made? I don't see it in the buildOS tool.
