Converted Sprint to Verizon. Roaming now?? - Page 3

The radio refurb cab reverts the phone back to its original carrier radio specs so if you convert a bell mobility phone to altell and then run the radio refurb cab the radio info gets set back to bell mobility. I assume it pulls the info from the locked NVM as to what carrier radio info it shipped with. This file recovers vzw phones that sprint cabs have run on because it shipped as a vzw phone.

So when it runs with the Verizon Stock Rom.... as part of the customizations... this will screw the specs up? I could cook that out of the stock rom.

I did a test. Had VZW flashed... upgraded to DCD 3.2.5 / radio 3.42.50... and got it programmed so that I had phone/sms/data working, with the stupid roaming still. I did the refurb exe with /refurbish... and yes... it reads the sprint data... and rewrites my epst. I had to go back into QPST and reload my proper stuff. So... with that being said... is there a way to "Hack"/"ReWrite" the Sprint Data area and ERI of the phone using a hex editor or QPST?

My suggestion on this hard issue Nitro is go into the chat.....you should be able to get someone to help in there....hope you get it going.....

No but just go into the main chat...someone will help...it is definitely more helpful at night as more members are in there....but you can always give it a try now also....

Nope the NVM area on the titan and vogue are locked inside & the NVM it contains that data. Certain areas of the NVM such as the CID and esn can be changed using mtty if you have a MFG bootloader such as the olipro 2.40. Check my thread on 6700 to verizon linked above and click on the supercid info link for the 6800 for some info.

I have the phone SuperCid and the ESN changed. How about editing the PRI/ERI?

Not going to happen. I've been doing these for months and assume you used my tutorial or one based off mine to convert the phone to vzw. Untill the vzw PRI is released the roam icon will not go away. There is no known way to extract it from a rom or nvm edit to do it on the 6800 or 6900. Like I said the roam icon doesn't hinder performance in any way if you followed my guide its just a minor annoyance on converted carrier phones.

That bites. Wish someone knew the extract capability. That way I could get it off my real VZW phone... and get it written to the Sprint phone.
