Re: Converted Sprint to Verizon. Roaming now??

BTW... do you know if there is a way to dump the NV off of my XV6800 so that I can get the PRI 1.35_001 (or whatever it is)... and then flash that to this "Cloned" phone?

Nope don't know of any way to do that but the radio refurb will back it back down to the sprint one however.

Re: Converted Sprint to Verizon. Roaming now??

Yup. That's how I got GPS back. Since I did the stupid VZW update... No GPS. So.. I just reloaded the stock Sprint stuff... then the Stock Verizon... and I had the original 2.00_003 PRI. Now i have GPS. Still "Roaming" though. . oh yeah... I noticed the NVM in EFS Explorer of QPST. Is there a way to get into that?

The ESN and CID sections are in the NVM folder and with the mfg bootloader mtty can access those areas. That would probably be your best shot but you would need to ask someone very familiar with all the rtask commands in mtty.

Re: Converted Sprint to Verizon. Roaming now??

I was more curious if the PRI was under that folder. I did see the ERI folder. But if there was a way for me to "Hack" the PRI... by getting it off of my original XV6800.... and putting it on my Cloned Mogal.... That would be nice.

The eri folder can be access by bitpim and qpst however loading one there doesn't get read by the phone. There is no such pri folder.

Re: Converted Sprint to Verizon. Roaming now??

So I've found out. So the NVRam is the only way. Grrr.. I wish there was a way to dump it... then reflash it to another phone.

Re: Converted Sprint to Verizon. Roaming now??

Found a fix!!!! It's not clean, it's not easy, but it works on my sprint 6900 converted to verizon... needs a little more experimentation, details to come tomorrow.
