Using Mogul as Modem

First time having to do this as going on trip but need to work (Yes, I know this sucks), is there a guide out there? I did a search and they seem to talk about more advanced problems but not the actual setup.

Should I just use PDAnet?

I would prefer a solution with no software to install, I'm fine with reg hacks etc.
