Maybe, I really don't know. That extension doesn't exist on the ROM I'm running, and I don't remember seeing it when I was one the official ROM (maybe I just missed it). Are you running the official 3.56? Does anyone else see that extension?

I do have that file but I would be more worried about deleting a DLL that making a registry key value change.

Re: Using Mogul as Modem

ISEXT.DLL stand for "Internet Sharing Extension" It's the same as the other "extension.dll" key that you have to delete in the older rom under the same registry key in order to disable the data errors. I found this one too, in place of the other and I deleted it, and I was able to use internet sharing after a soft reset.

You'll be fine if you delete it.

Then make a backup of that key....

It's not going to bork your phone. You can just add it back if you need to..

There is a cab floating around somewhere to import the reg entry for you, if you're not comfortable editing it yourself.

I've attached v.91 of WMWiFiRouter. This cab will also set up an adhoc WiFi network for you with the name "Free Viruses!!" (you can change the name, or set up your own peer-to-peer/adhoc network if you want, that is just the name I chose). Make sure your WiFi switch is in the on position before activating the program. Give it a try and let us know if you have any more questions

Edit: Sorry, give me just a second to upload the cab.
I just used the cab attached and worked great with No2Chem pre8 2.2 rom wm6.1, although you stated that it was v.91 and in the about it says .89? what are the changes between the two some said the .91 was the last stable version do you have another cab floating around? I was surprised it works because many people have said that .91 will not work on the new No2 builds. Well thank because it does work i am just wondering if I am missing anything?

Re: Using Mogul as Modem

I was fairly certain that the version I posted was .91. I could be wrong, but I'd guess that the "About" section simply wasn't updated between .89 and .91. Either way, if it is working well for you then I wouldn't worry about it. I have a license for the new, commercial version, and honestly I still use this version a lot. It is lighter, and initializes faster than the new versions. I've been using ICSControl a lot more these days as well. WMWiFiRouter v1.2 sounds promising though, so I'm gonna give that a shot whenever the public beta starts.
