to answer yer question about new ones being released... they are currently working on getting the opal keyboards working.. these will essentially be the same as the diamond ones, however they were created for QVGA to begin with so no hacking/resizing of the images is needed... there is a thread on xda for the development of getting these launched but still in early stages...

Well I got the NueROM Kitchen to work with BuildOS i build a rom using the NueRom 6096 pre1 Kitchen, I'm having a lil problem with the text messaging/keyboard when i'm using the touchpal keyboard or the hardware keyboard the little area where you type text in doesnt queue up on the top of the keyboard. Is that the same problem your having am I the only one having this problem I dont maybe I didnt something wrong... when I had the NueRom 3 6096 on my phone I experienced the same problem... help tell me I'm not losing my mind...LOL

It might be the same problem. It seems that the lower bar (which should display the keyboard) shows a bar with a locked image of the lower bar keys that do not respond to presses. It is a variant of the Today screen frozen bar that appeared on the older Nuerom 2. No fix yet, other than sticking with the default keyboard on Nuerom3pre1, as that seems to prevent the error from appearing.

While no2chem has gone a long way towards keeping the titan alive, it's pretty obvious that it's dropping further down his priority list (between the new site, the diamond, and the vogue - not to mention having a real life!).

Speaking strictly in terms of releases that have been deemed "stable" by the master himself it has been a very long time since the last stable release. The innovations since then (in pre2.2 and now in nueRom3) have been ground breaking and praised but have often been one step forward, one step backward or partially complete.

I hope we can see it all come together one last time before the Diamond/Raphael wave hits in the upcoming months. The diamond is very appealing from a design and memory standpoint, but I'm going to hang onto my titan as long as I can because I want that Raphaels' keyboard. Hopefully everyone's contributions will get no2chem a Diamond and Raphael and keep this game going!

not everything you say here is true... one thing I know is that No2chem honors the people that support/donate/contribute to the success of his work... that's one of the MAIN reasons he made the nuerom site: to focus on those that trully back his work.

Plus with so many bleeding edge developments coming out right now, No2chem just seems to be more selective with how he applies his time/work... there's no point in putting out 3pre2 tomorrow if new build of 6.1, manilla, ect are flowing out on a daily basis. This would be unproductive on his part.

I cant speak for you but I have full confidence in the dude that he's still commited to developing for the mogul/titan. sheesh his PREVIEWS of unfinished roms are always miles ahead of other chefs fully completed final version releases lol. All he technically has to do is place a toggle on the camera function that was missing in 3pre0/ 3pre1 and 3pre2 would be considered the crowning achievment of mogul roms.

Didn't mean to sound negative or anything. No2chem's work is great and I feel bad about the hassles he's dealing with in the Vogue forum lately. I can't imagine that any of his work is a big money maker for him and this place can get pretty crazy sometimes - hundreds and thousand of posts - members acting like crack addicts!

All I was getting at earlier was that he has so many projects between the different cabs, roms, and the nue site that it would be nice to see a rom that has his stamp of "stable" on it. The camera fix will be nice, but I'm more interested in fixing the keyboard issue - that's the main thing keeping me in the pre2.2 builds.

on the pagepool front:

call me crazy but instead of trying to figure out how high it has to be to remain 'snappy', i've decided that I will start from the bottom by setting a 1mb pp and seeing what happens... this is while running manilla2d and all other normal apps...

My logic is this... nuerom 3pre1 is the fastest beast of a rom i've ever seen when using a default pp of 6mb. much snappier than any other rom with the same default pp... sooooo i though why not work my way up and see how it performs using the min 1mb pp... I'll post results when i get home... I'm leaving work now.
