Pretty sure he said the next release will be RC1 for 2.2, but he hasn't said WHEN that will be. When does he ever tell us when they come out, except a few hours prior?

The last time no2 gave a time frame, he felt so obligated to produce something within the given time frame that the 'rushed' job showed in the sub-par quality ROM that was produced. Now i dont know about you, but i'd rather no2 take his time and produce a QUALITY rom that makes us say "we're not worthy" :notworthy: TAKE YOUR TIME NO2CHEM !!!

yes, I apologize for "getting that started" (and the typo (meant 9))
I didn't mean to imply that a new one would be comming soon, and I was trying to keep the options open on wether or not it would be pre.

but yea, it is about that time to give a shout of encouragement, rock ON!! :notworthy:

Well, I had to go back to 7. 8's screen-dragging issues, movement issues, and just general sluggishness were getting to me. I'm also wondering if my battery problems were related to the changes no2chem made to the power applet in 8. Either way, I'll stick with 7 until 8's released.

I swear to god the next person that asks for updates should get a temp ban for a few days.

Give the man his space and let him work!

I understand that you might not have liked the response but it was asked 7 or 8 posts before yours.

weird issue I just saw.
Im sitting here on a conference call on my pre8 build phone. All I have installed after the fact is TomTom, SPB Mobile Shell and Voice Command 1.6.

While I was on the call I looked over at the phone and it looks like the nueLock had popped up but the text on the screen were scrambled beyond belief. I opened/closed the slider and while the video did correct itself I had to scrable to the phone and hit send to hands-free as the phone dropped the headset connection. (at least I wasnt talking at the time.)

EDIT: Oh and I was plugged into the USB at the time too.

I'm wondering if my battery issues are the same? Whats yours doing? Mine is acting like it's overheating when it shouldn't be (Flashing light, and saying it's 47 deg. each time, then after a bit, going back to saying 20 deg. and being fine) Aside from that, I'm loving Pre-8. The skyfire drag is a bit slower, but by no means unusable for me, and all my other drag based applications work just fine, so I'm a happy camper for now :)
