Re: nueROM 2.2 Bleeding Edge General Discussion Thread
I've reflashed and hard reset a few times and keep getting the same odd behaviour. when I open (sometimes) or close (always) a program, activesync opens on its own.
I've used every tweek and hack I know and I can't figure it out. Nothing that usually works for us is working. Auto Time Sync is disabled I removed the 'run after time update' repllog.exe entry in the notification que. now that I think of it, there have been other ROMs I've tried where the phone dialpad pops up when you close a program. wasn't there a fix for that? |
Re: nueROM 2.2 Bleeding Edge General Discussion Thread
So far, this ROM has proved to work quite well for me. I like to use iGO 8 for GPS. Before when I only had 24-25MB free on boot, if I was running iGO 8 and received a text message or phone call, iGO would get closed down by WinMo memory management, but now, I have enough free to keep it open when either of the 2 happen. Also, Opera Mobile would close itself as well on certain webpages, again, due to low mem. This doesn't happen anymore. My only two beefs so far? Camera (yeah, i know it's gonna be working *rubs hands in anticipation*) and keyboard. The keyboard that comes with this ROM (even in the kitchen), just straight out sucks goat nads. Sometime, the entire bottom row is missing (i.e. no space bar and such) and the only way to fix it is to soft-reset. I see no need for a floatable keyboard with the Titan, but thats just me. No2chem, can we have an option in the kitchen to change the keyboard?
-edit- Also, I hove those nasty beeps on the call waiting again, and according to DCD, this is something in the OS ROM. Can we have that fixed at some point? (It's not the end of the world for me, I can live with it. Just thought I'd throw it out there) toviaheli, as far as your activesync issue, I personally have not had any problems. (I know that doesn't help you :???:) |

Kinda off the subject here, but I'm thinkin of changing my bootloader from olipro 2.40 to nueSPL 2.47. Is that gonna be a quick "run it and go" for me? (i.e. is that gonna cuase a hard reset)
-edit- Nevermind, I just put it on, all is well :D |

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shell] "ShowTitleBarClock"=dword:2 Let me know how it goes. Soft reset with a software soft reset after you change your settings. Cheers. Mikee |
