I have found that opening and closing opera mini causes the menu bar to come back when it dissapears. Maybe thats what causes it to vanish.

Re: nueROM 2.2 Bleeding Edge Report Thread

ROM Version you are running: Pre8
Applications you have installed: Wisbar Lite, Navizon, Googlemaps
Carrier: Sprint

Describe concisely, the issue you are experiencing: Programs closing on their own. Someone also reported this in the discussion thread.

Describe, step by step how to reproduce this issue: I open any two programs and the one in the background will close within 5-10 minutes.

Describe what you expected to happen: programs stay open.

Should I upload my registry?

ROM Version you are running: no2chem 2.2pre8
Applications you have installed: WMWIFIROUTER
Carrier: Sprint

Describe concisely, the issue you are experiencing:
At some point when the lock comes up. It smudges the time and the lock message across the screen (Think like writing markers on glass and then wiping your hand across it). When I got a phone call that I missed. I opened the keyboard to unlock it and put it back and there is now white space which I can't click on missed calls and etc.

Describe concisely, the issue you are experiencing:
For example, if you are experiencing the device locking after calibrating the screen, state that when you calibrate the device through the control panel, the device freezes and the only way to recover is a soft reset.

Describe, step by step how to reproduce this issue:
For example, for the issue previously discussed:
1. Open the Screen Applet.
2. Press "Align Screen".
3. Align the screen
4. The device resets itself.

Describe what you expected to happen:
For example: The device should have been calibrated instead of resetting itself.

Any attachments, including KITL logs (if relevant) and relevant screenshots are useful. My Mobiler (http://www.mtux.com/) is a simple and easy way to take screenshots.

Thank you for taking the time to submit a concise bug report. I know it takes more effort, but it will help isolate issues more quickly.

Windows does this on its own to manage memory when it gets low, especially if one or both of the programs are memory hogs (like Opera or most GPS programs). Watch your program memory and see if that's the problem. If your memory stays high then we have a problem.

Then we have a problem.
Programs begin closing around 17MB.

I've reinstalled the ROM three time with multiple hard resets before running each. in my last setup I used Quick Menu and WTask in place if Wisbar Lite. Same issue continues as I've and others have reportedly experienced with previous No2 ROMS. The previously usedx registry fix for HTC Large Menu has no effect for me on Pre8.

Additional major bug related to this: if I leave ONE program running it Will close by itself after about 1/2 hour.

I thinl I may need to abandon This ROM unless we can figure it out. Id be very sad!

Re: nueROM 2.2 Bleeding Edge Report Thread

I only have the programs closing themselves if I'm running any of the Opera 9.5 betas on my ROM... otherwise, my programs stay open all day.
