Re: nueROM 2.2 Bleeding Edge Report Thread
**Feature Request** Advanced Config Application Features
ROM: NueRom 2.2 Preview 8 Feature Request: So I love SDConfig + PIM Backup but I still have the problem of some REG Edits that I can't quite fit into the xml file of SDCONFIG. I noticed in your Advanced Config application you have a number of registry features we can edit + button configurations. I'd love to see the ability to configure your e-mail + maybe a few other reg edits or set up your menus + an EXPORT function for saving these configurations and the ability to IMPORT them after a hard rest. Just an idea, I'm not sure how easy/hard that is. Your roms are amazing and are the best thing about this phone. Thanks!

Re: nueROM 2.2 Bleeding Edge Report Thread
ROM Version you are running: 2.2 5770 Preview 8
Applications you have installed: Touch Wait Cursor, MS Voice Command, sMMS, Oxios, Pocket Sudoku, SPB Black47 Dialer Skin, HTC Album (with folder support), JRebeiro EsmertecJbed, SPB Black47 WMP skin, TCPMP .072, Google Maps, Google Search, Skyfire, FlashVideoBundle, SPB Mobile Shell 2.1, SPB Pocket Plus 4.0, Sashimi, Opera 9.5 beta 1, SPB Black47 Theme Skin Carrier: Sprint Describe concisely, the issue you are experiencing: Dragging does not seem to function properly in this build. This was previously reported as a problem with Skyfire, however the problem actually exists with the OS as a whole. In Skyfire when you try to drag the screen it fails to respond until a moment AFTER you release the stylus/finger, and then it simply acts as a screen press in the spot where you let go. This renders the browser worthless. However the problem can be reproduced in other applications such as Contacts, Messaging or File Explorer when attempting to drag and select multiple items. Describe, step by step how to reproduce this issue: Open File Explorer, and drag the cursor from one item to another, attempting to highlight more than one item. Try the same on Contacts, Messaging, or anywhere else you can select multiple items. |

Re: nueROM 2.2 Bleeding Edge Report Thread
I'm experienceing an problems that might have a easy fix. I might be a little slow but, when I'm typing text messages/email in outlook my phone trys to predict what I'm typing with the hard keys. I have looked at setting and haven't found a solution. For example if I was typing "the" it would try and predict I was typing "the" and when I would push space it will type "thethe." So then I have to delete the repeat word. It isn't always a repeat word it could be a completly diffrent word. It is like it is using t9 with a full keyboard or somthing.
I also have experienced the top bar vanising. I have read that is due to the htc home diamond icons? |

Re: nueROM 2.2 Bleeding Edge Report Thread
The thirty second skipping thing in WMP vanished today, and it has worked fine all morning playing via blueooth to my car stereo (dual xhd6425). Only thing I can point to is that my battery ran stone dead over the weekend, and I charged fully overnight. Maybe something between a hard reset and a soft one? Warm?

That and the menu bar is my only complaint! Other then that it is night and day diffrence from my old rom! Very fast! There is 40% ram free on boot less then my old (50%) but it seems to take more to fill it up! Now is there a fix for the menu dissapearing. I'm sorry if it has been posted but I didn't see a clear cut solution when I scimmed through before. Thanks! |
