nueROM 2.2 Bleeding Edge Report Thread

The purpose of this thread is to report issues with the latest nueROM 2.2 previews and release canidates. ONLY report issues in this thread, off topic discussion is STRICTLY prohibited and will be deleted. ALL issues must be reported in the manner below or will be deleted/ignored.

If you are getting the same issue as someone else, You may validate their bug report by quoting them, and adding to their report if you have additional information.

Currently, the current bleeding edge release is 5770-pre8. You can find the latest build on the FTP. (ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Titan/Users/No2chem).

Describe concisely, the issue you are experiencing:
For example, if you are experiencing the device locking after calibrating the screen, state that when you calibrate the device through the control panel, the device freezes and the only way to recover is a soft reset.

Describe, step by step how to reproduce this issue:
For example, for the issue previously discussed:
1. Open the Screen Applet.
2. Press "Align Screen".
3. Align the screen
4. The device resets itself.

Describe what you expected to happen:
For example: The device should have been calibrated instead of resetting itself.

Any attachments, including KITL logs (if relevant) and relevant screenshots are useful. My Mobiler (http://www.mtux.com/) is a simple and easy way to take screenshots.

Thank you for taking the time to submit a concise bug report. I know it takes more effort, but it will help isolate issues more quickly.

Tested the keylock. Locks fine with powerbutton. Turned on bluetooth and connected Insignia Stereo bluetooth headset. Powerbutton no longer activates keylock. Keylock DOES activate with idle timeout. Disconnect bluetooth and powerbutton will activate keylock.

Seperate issue. While keylock active, calls can be answered with softbutton but not green phone button. Calls cannot be disconnected with red hang-up button.

Describe what you expected to happen:
1st issue - expected keylock to activate on pressing power button

2nd issue - expected phone to hangup with red phone button.

The pagepool changer does not work on this version. An invalid file error shows up and will not let me change the page pool. This has never happend.

"Reply All" is still left-side button in e-mails. Unresolved from previous builds.

Applications: Probably not relavant, but batterystatus & ultimate launch shown in scree cap.
Carrier: Verizon

Not necessarily a bug, but the text for the lock can be hard to read if it is on a light background. Would be nice if it had a dark background.

Programs: Everything + Kitchen Sink (but this is about FTOUCHSL 2.7)

BUG: I can't explain it that well, but here it goes:
There's a feature in FTOUCHSL that disables touchflo when SIP is activated.

I turned off the feature in sliding sound & input which automatically gives you a default SIP. But I suspect this new feature may somehow be interefering with that feature in FTOUCHSL. I'm not quite sure what the source of the problem, but I suspect it's that because my FTOUCHSL stopped working shortly thereafter.

When I did some poking around I unchecked "Disable on SIP" and suddenly it worked again.

Also: Feature/Request
Is it possible to have the nueDevice Lock disabled by default (on boot up) so that it won't interefere with UC process when key presses are necessary.

Maybe if others with FTOUCHSL can report if they have any issues as well. Thank you.

BUG: I can't get audio out from my adapter from 11-pin to 3.5mm. I have tried in preview 7 and now 8, anyone else have one that can test and tell me if its my adapter or the rom? It a brand new adapter pic posted below.

Bug: while on a phone call keylock starts up. I am now unable to change in call volume.

Expect to happen: keylock to not disable thumb dial while in a phone call.

Bug: Carrier customization screen correctly shows Verizon Wireless but the text is hidden under other text. Image shows Sprint logo (not really sure it isn't suppossed to). Installs Sprint customizing instead of Verizon.

Expect to see: Verizon wireless to not be written over by other text. To see a Verizon logo. To install Verizon customizing.

Bug:
1. in poutlook I am unable to select several messages by dragging the stylus over.

Question:
nueUSB pops up even when I plug device into a regular charger. Not a big deal, but can the real USB connection be distinguished from just charging?
