Get this rom(this is the one I use, you can use others like No2Chem's which is equally as good): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=402920
Get this radio: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=403280

Once the rom is installed assuming you have verizon, run the carrier cab.
Get carrier cab here: http://www.lifesnotsogood.com/dcd118...2020080706.cab

Remember you will need to install the new boot loader first. Then do the rest according to instructions there.
Also, make sure you have another phone handy or a land-line handy for when u call verizon. To get it re-authenticated. You will need to do this whenever u go from a non-gps radio to a gps one. (I reccomend doing this during business hours so u dont freak and wont be able to contact them until they open in the morning)
Excellent, thank you!!!!!!

Re: 6800 aka titan i guess

Yes you can flash the radio only. That is what I did. I did not flash the sprint ROM to my verizon ROM. As a matter of fact I went back and flashed the newer Radio I think it is 3.42.30. I flashed it using my 2gb micro disc. It did not even require a hard reset flashing with the card. But as another user stated you have to flash a GPS enabled ROM. A stock ROM will not work. Also when you flash a new bootloader(SPL) look at nuespl by no2chem. I used olipro before I saw his. His can be loaded with a card and that seems so much easier to me.

Maybe i'm incorrect. But according to this sticky:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=17032

It says that "To use the Titan's internal GPS you must be running a ROM version of at least 3.16.651.0 with a radio ROM version of at least 3.27.00 (to find your ROM version go to the "Device Information" application found in Start->Settings->"System" tab)."
And according to this stock rom page:
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index...TitanStockHome
The only Rom that Verizon has released is version 2.09.605.8 (Radio 1.30.00)
That's why i said a stock rom would not work with a GPS radio. I believe this user has verizon not sprint (which does have a stock rom that supports GPS radios)

Here is the 3.42.30 Radio. That link is to rapid share from another user. After you flash your spl, flash the radio then flash a custom ROM ( I made my own ROM with ppckitchen.org kithen-no2chem 5067). Worked for me so I know it works.

I havent done this myself as of yet because i don't have the phone yet but it seems that everyone agrees that this is the way that it needs to be done. The important thing to do is to make sure that the customizations do not run on the sprint rom when it boots otherwise you are in for a world of pain apparently.
is the website meant for verizon 6800 cause i see sprint writing all over the page..
