Can VERIZON users install this first without olipro? Then install it and flash the custom ROM? This might get by having to reset all the settings and a-key.

When he said "primed", he meant do you still need to run AstroGPSLauncher to get TomTom, iGo, etc. working. (Not Google Maps or Live Search; we know those work out of the box.)

Re: New Official Sprint ROM (3.56, radio 3.42.20)

I haven't been able to get iGO8 working without launching it with AstroGPSLauncher. The funny thing is that it won't even start using the regular iGO8 links. It loads all the way to where it says "starting" but the program never fully starts. Works normal with AstroGPS though. Not sure what is going on here. Weird.

You will want to change the Value Data from 2 to 3. After clicking OK, you should see under Name: ItemCount and Data: 3 (0X000003).

The second thing you need to do is create a New String Value. Once you have done this, you will see Value Name and Value Data. Under Value Name, enter "ItemName3" and under Value Data enter "Roaming". After finishing this, you should now see this entry under Name: ItemName3 and Data: Roaming.

The last thing you need to do is create a New DWord Value. Once you have done this, you will see Value Name, Value Data, and a box that says Base with Binary, Decimal, and Hexidecimal as options. Under Value Name enter "ItemValue3" and under Value Data enter "3". Make sure that under the Base option box that Decimal is checked. After finishing this, you should see another new entry under Name: ItemValue3 and Data: 3 (0X000003).

Can anyone else confirm that adding StorminOkie's roaming registry keys to silicon's location solves the problem of the roaming option disappearing after a soft reboot?

Re: New Official Sprint ROM (3.56, radio 3.42.20)

Ok, I have a PPCkitchen cooked on my mogul, tried to update to this rom and all I get is the 3 color screen, just sat there for over 30 minutes both times I tried the update. Currently running the 3.49 Rom

I know others have said they didn't need to relock, but could that be my problem?

*edit of course after I posted, I got it to work by booting phone to 3 color screen then starting the update instead of letting the utility bring up the 3 color screen.

Going from one rom to another totally diferent rom....backup wont restore everything...there will be missing/extra stuff. Dont do it or do totally clean instalation.
