Concerning Windows Media Player...

There have been at least two other people describing the same problem. Either after a few seconds or almost 28 seconds right on the nose, listening to a list of music, the songs skip to the next song.

Someone was kind enough to post a possible fix to the registry to the SDcard registry file, and to change the word value from 40 to 20.

This has not fixed the problem.

This IS a problem to a few of us at least. It may have to do with how we select the options in the kitchen. It was my first time, and I'm sure I have no idea what I am doing. I bet the others that have the WMP problem are as clueless as I am, I hope.

I had the 3.35 ROM and radio. I used Olipro 2.4 to unlock, the process was smooth. I installed the dcd ROM and that was also smooth. I then wanted to use the No2Chem 5076 so I downloaded, installed, and updated Build OS (WinXP).

Question: Why won't it connect to Active Sync? Is there any other method of loading the stock ROM back on the phone?

I have already bought another phone.

Try a hard reset after you load the ROM. That tends to clear some bugs for some reason, specially on the Mogul.

I am having a similar issue, in that i cannot connect to activsync anymore... I've run many of the No2Chem roms up to 5067 without any issues, yet I did a hard reset and now every time i try to sync all of my computers tell me my device has malfunctioned. Hard reset after hard reset hasn't solved my issue, nor has trying to load a different NBH off of my SD card.
Since I cannot connect via activesync, I cannot load a different ROM... at least not in anyway I know of yet. The 5060 that im using now will always load up on hard reset so my phone is still functional.

Did you forget to build something into the ROM. I know that's a newb question, and I appologize, but just wondering.

As last resort...
power + camera + reset is the combo that pops you straight into the bootloader.
Can someone verify that please?

I mean that's how I was able to test out the 3.39 radio by itself from the SDcard method.

I did have the ROM working fine hard reset after hard reset and activesync would connect no problem. I have put the phone in bootloader via the power+camera+reset, but still my computer gives me the same usb connect error which stops me from reverting back to a factory ROM. grrrr! Kind of a fun problem, because I can still use the phone- just gotta nail this down.

Just thinkin' it could be something with your USB cable or USB port(on the computer OR on the phone). What I mean is that I know my Mogul's USBport has become more wobbly and looser since I found this forum.
If nothing else, software-wise has changed did you try another USB cable or another port on your computer?

I cant get MMS to work. I had 5069k installed and was bummed because i could not get MMS so i cooked my own from 5067. It used to work so well. Now i still can not get mms to work at all. i have included the mms from the kitchen but it still is not working any Ideas? i tried both the mms and oem mms in the kitchen but none work.

Thank you i forgot this is what is used to make it work last time. I also had to change the server info. for some reason it was on ATT so i had to create a verizon one. which your previous post showed me how.

I have tried different cables, different computers with different OS's... I get the same error.
"One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfuncitoned. Windows does not recognize it..."
I guess my next step is to try to bluetooth it to my laptop and see if I can sync that way. I must have (if this is even possible) corrupted my phones USB driver/software???? I wonder if there is a cab file I can drop on my SD card to run to fix it... hmm back to searching!


EDIT*Update*: Looks like my issue was possibly hardware related... now my power button will put the phone in sleep mode, yet I cannot get out of it unless i soft rest... bottom line is that Verizon is sending me out a replacement. Thanks for the ideas on my prob anyways!
