Silly noob question here... on a Verizon XV6800 does this ROM enable the GPS for use with iGo 8 or whatnot?

Yes it does. Make sure you read the sticky on upgrading a stock 6800 with the SPL and radio too.

ok, so i typed in camera in the search of the thread and i couldn't find anyone else that had this problem. but when i hit the camera button on the side of my mogul it says shortcut not found and when i go to pictures folder and try to pull up the camera, nothing happens. also when i loaded the build OS software after the update it said something about duplicate GUID and htc camera 4....
question is HOW DO I GET MY CAMERA TO WORK????

Did you ensure that you had picked the Titan camera in the build? Sounds like you might not have done that.

yea I did there were two selections with the same version on there twice and the preselected one is the one i did the first time then i picked the no2chem's and SOB started working!, thanks!

I just checked mine after reading this thread and found it does the same. Apparently the Titan camera 4 is the one that has to be used.

I've had this kitchen running for 2 days and today I had a problem. IE was crapping out so I did a soft rest and wam....phone got stuck at the WM6.1 screen. I pulled the battery and reset the phone a hundred times to no avail. I eventually did a hard reset. I'm curious what happened and will this happen again? Also, how do I get the correct time and date on the phone. I manually entered it last time but I know it should be automatic.

It should be automatic on CDMA networks.

Yipes, hope someone knows... I'm about to build a ROM for my brand new XV6800 (Verizon) and don't want this to happen to me repeatedly either

Just been a brave little boy yesterday and decided to learn how to use the kitchen and got a lot of things i liked installed. Everything works great and thanks to no2chem for some of his stuff.

I have one huge annoyance and that's some kind of autotext feature in sms. I remember having word suggestions and it was turned off before i put the kitchen on here but this is different.

What happens is that when you type something and as you go it will look at what you typed before and if there is the same word it will suggest the word that came after it. It's really annoying because if i keep typing it'll stick it in at the end each time i hit space. ie. "there is a cute girl over there andis she" suggests "is" and shoves it in unless i hit backspace)

For the life of me I can't figure out what the feature is or where the settings are. I have suggest words dissabled and everything. Does anyone have a clue what this is?
