Re: no more radio flashing with RUU's

I've had problems with a kingston 1 GB micro SD (not SDHC). An A-DATA 2 GB card worked for me.

Re: no more radio flashing with RUU's

I think you guys are confusing 2 different things.

There is flashing a ROM which INCLUDES a new Radio via SDHC.
Then there is Flashing a RADIO ONLY via SDHC.

Most of the people on here seem to be saying that they flashed the ROM which included the radio. That has never been a problem with cards of any size. The problem (for some) is when you try to flash the radio only via SDHC.

Hell you can easily flash the ROM /w Radio in RUU. There is no real point in doing that from the SDHC card unless you dont have access to your PC or something to that effect.

Of course you can use the RUU to flash radios by USB. What made you think you can't? Now, if your phone hasn't been unlocked, you'll have a hard time flashing anything that's not stock from your carrier...

You can't flash from a SDHC card because the bootloader doesn't support HC cards. That limits you to flashing from a SD card, which are 2GB or less.

BTW, RUU is a program. There is no such thing as a "blank RUU".
