Re: no more radio flashing with RUU's
I know what the thread is about here. Just trying to keep people from downgrading their bootloaders if there is no reason to; especially if they already have a gps version rom on it.
since I'm Sprint I just flashed the whole rom. but what i'm saying is there is no reason to have to flash back to 1.20 BL in order to flash 3.39 radio. it should be able to flash from sdcard as long as the proper type card is used.

Verizon xv6800 1. I run Vista, so first I driver hacked Windows Mobile Device Center with the latest Active Sync driver. 2. Used Olipro 2.20 unlocker. 3. Installed 3.35 radio using the latest RUU. 4. Booted phone to the boot loader and installed 3.2.1-Vetvito Sexier Windows.exe for my first ROM. After that I tried loading the 3.39 radio with RUU a few times and it failed at 8%. Also tried the Sprint ROM 3.49 w/ 3.39 radio .exe it starts RUU but it fails with a Windows program error as soon as start the flash (never see flash % indicator). I can't do a SD card radio load with my 1 GB card formatted FAT32 (never starts). I have the .nbh file named correctly and on the root, maybe I need to try a different SD card. I can however cook up ROMs with the kitchen and load them perfectly (which I have done twice now). I'm wondering what would be my best method of loading the 3.39 radio w/o buying a new SD card. Any advise? Thanks PleaseStirMe Last edited by pleasestirme; 06-18-2008 at 02:04 AM. |
