Thats the dangerous thing I have noticed with hitting "new post" if you arent paying attention, you will end up in another forum flashing something meant for another phone.

Not really. There is only so much you can do with a software update. Certainly you can optimize whatever you can in the phone (firmware wise) to lock onto a signal but you simply can't change physics with software... ie you can't increase the signal strength coming to your phone.

The past radio update didn't do anything for my signal strength. It basically stayed the same. Some people have reported in the past, more "bars" but that really isn't always an indication of an "increase in signal strength".

Maybe signal reception is a better way to describe?
