You referring to this HERE? I'm cool with it but I wonder if that would work for everyone else.
I know I saw posts about changing it back in the day when Kmart broke out the leaked 3.16 GPS ROM for the titan.

*Edit* This was in the attic How do I remove 'Test Only Not for sale' msg,or look at this HERE and make your own.

Re: New "Official" Sprint ROM (3.49, radio 3.39.10)

I have a finance program that I need to restore from sprite backup, after doing the 6.1 thing. When I do a personal data, or level one install from backup, the unit locks up. I have to do a hard reset, and start over. I just need to restore this one program, I can manually reinstall the others. I have it installed on the sd card. How do I do this? A brand noob thanks you.....

I'll continue searching, but can anybody share how exactly to get ppst.exe to run? I can't seem to make it do anything...

I use sprite, but rarely try to restore unless its to the same exact ROM. There is a level 2 restore, and a low level as well in Sprite if you are having problems, but the best option might be to go to the spritesoftware site. They have support forums that might answer your needs.

Yeah I thought the same. Still have yet to see that though. I'm even running rom from the kitchen and it still looks same.

Re: New "Official" Sprint ROM (3.49, radio 3.39.10)

The only real issue that I am having, other than the ones listed here, is SPB Backup is not working correctly.

I am going to give another program a try and see how it works.

Re: New "Official" Sprint ROM (3.49, radio 3.39.10)

So I switched from the no2chem 5060 to this ROM. I had problems with the RUU crashing, but that was fixed with running it in XP compatibility mode.

It worked good and although I didn't like the Large Start Menu too much, it seemed faster. I installed a couple programs and then installation froze (Resco Photo Viewer Pro) so I restarted and it would just hang right when the today screen loaded. All I had installed is HTCHome, HHC, and Resco. After doing a hard reset I switched back to the stock HTC Sprint ROM. I guess I could wait a couple weeks for the official 6.1 Update.

Although, SprintTV DID work for me. I got the welcome video and even tried stuff from CBS Mobile. Worked great. Switching to Full Screen restarted the video however.
