So Vet you are saying we can just install the radio from your link and be done with it, no need to flash the entire rom am I reading something wrong? Is the GPS info still the same? Or any newer?

Ok thanks Vetvito. So I should just flash the Verizon rom and use olipro 2.4 or do I need to use that since its already on the phone? And then flash the Black pill over it? Also does anyone know if the 8 gig micro is supported with the black pill. Meritline has the 8 gig sandisk for $58 looking at getting it. Last edited by Limegrntaln; 04-22-2008 at 08:06 PM. |

Re: ALLTEL ROM 3.35.671.9 on HTC's site now
I flashed it this morning. It is WM 6. Then re-flashed my WM 6.1 OS from the kitchen. GPS works nicely, and I have had fewer IOTA drop outs. Could be placebos, but so far, nothing to complain about. So, now I have Radio 3.37.20 and WM 6.1. from the kitchen with all the upgrades and s/w I prefer.
I don't see why other carrier people can't do as we did by flashing the Sprint 3.35.04 radio, then flashing the OS ROM we wanted. Seems reasonable to try. Don't let the configuration run, then flash your OS ROM of your choice. |
