Re: Omg Did Something Stupid Help!
i did resync it and nothing, this is sad because some of the people I knew i only kept in contact with that phone number /sadface; and yes I had all my contacts before the flash
Ninja Edit: Does anyone know where activesync stores the information the phone sends? i have looked around my comp but i cant seem to find it. |

Re: Omg Did Something Stupid Help!
I have done this too, if you delete all your contacts on your phone, like when you flash, and it is set up to sync and your phone to your computer and not combine, it will delete all your computer contacts. Check in your deleted folder in contacts. my outlook isnt working, but i remember it was a folder on the left. I found most of my info there. had to sort through it but i found it all. Next time, use PIMbackup or something, will save you a lot of headache.

Re: Omg Did Something Stupid Help!
There is no way to recover your Contacts on the PDA-side. They're gone forever.
If you are using Vista, there may be some hope to recover your Contacts on the PC side. Go look for your outlook .pst file (I'm not sure where it normally lives since I use Exchange). Once you find it, right click and go to "Restore previous version". Choose a date when your contacts existed, and click the "Restore" button. Everything will then be fine from that point. Many people may not like Vista, but I have found one huge compelling reason to use it: Restore previous version. That feature has saved my *** more times than I'd like to admit. |
