Re: Titan Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19209 (Build 19209.1.0.2) aka 5060

Does anyone know what tweaks are included when the performance tweaks checkbox is clicked in Build OS? In addition, has anyone noticed a performance increase by including it in the rom?

Although the kitchen folks do a wonderful job keeping it up to date and current, the documentation for many of the OEMs is not quite up to par. I think that many of the senior members on this board are very familiar with what most of the OEMs actually do, but most folks are left to trial and error to try to figure it out (and searching the forums of course). It would be awesome if a wiki was started for the kitchen with a section covering the OEMs where those who were in the know could state exactly what each OEM does. Then the kitchen could link back to the wiki for questions.

Oh, and I can't tell you what tweaks are included but I just check the box anyway.

This is a very good idea. People could cut and paste much of what is needed if they know where the info is at. I've done the same that you have. Some I can't find any info on so I flash it and try it. Many times I reflash to remove it. The major applications are ok - it's the treaks normally that I'm lost on.

Re: Titan Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19209 (Build 19209.1.0.2) aka 5060

Hi. I first want to thank you guys for a great job!! All seems to work so far except that the keys which used to be the left and right soft keys on the keyboard now seem to just give me the start menu.

Anyone else seeing this and can I install a cab to fix it rather than a reflash?

Thanks.

Better still would be to fill in the appropriate sections of the option.xml inside the OEM. Then the info would travel with the OEM.

I havn't seen anything like that. Do you have HButton, WM5NewMenu, or any SIPs installed?

I do have wm5newmenu installed, is that the culprit?

Also, I installed smartski, but I can't fid any settings for it or the program itself -- am I missing something here?

Thanks.
