Re: Titan Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19209 (Build 19209.1.0.2) aka 5060

Why do you people continue to bring up and discuss thing of which you know very little? Let it go. Your facts are way off and your comparisons are obsurd.

Quote:
Exactly... I'm glad to see someone else thinks he was doing exactly what the rom team is doing.... That clearly illustrates the double standard.

By the way.... they didn't accuse of of stealing Colonel's work.... They accused him of stealing Helmi's work....
You obviously dont understand what he is saying and what happened. And, he did take Helmi's work. That was the whole issue. We ask people's permission and reroute donations sent to us to them as thanks. Jeff was asked several times not to put stuff out and he refused to listen to Helmi's wishes. If he had done that with a rom that he had ported on his own this wouldnt have been an issue. Now, if you cant see the differences, I am sorry. People continue to have this fanboy attitude towards things they know very little about.

Love the ROM, thank you guys....one q, the Ext Rom i see has been opened, can we delete everything in it like we did with the 6700s? will it all come back when we re-flash a new rom. i noticed there was a file with sprint in the name and i am on Verizon so id guess this was from when i ran the sprint rom so i can delete everything? just wanted to double check. love it again....fast and sturdy!

Yes and yes. You can delete it all and use it as storage if you want. It will survive flashes too. So, you can put ringers, cabs, and other stuff you want to keep and have handy.

You are correct, it was flashed on there when you did the 3.35 upgrade.

Has anybody gotten user customization to work? I am checking SDautorun but it is not even looking for my sdconfig.txt on initial boot.

Are you installing any of the other Boot Options? If so, they could be overwrting the registry entry. Check this on you phone and let me know what it says:

Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm]
"AutoRun"="\\Windows\\SDAutoRun.exe"

I just rebuilt again and tried to reflash. This time, instead of just clicking SDautorun, I checked autorun also. It seems to be working. Flashing as we speak with Sdautorun working.

This could possibly be the best setup ever!

If internet sharing is not in the Network group in buildOS.

i quickly read through this thread and seen nothing about this except the first post.

i can not boot and think it is due to not having the internet sharing in the Network group. what folder do i put this in and where do i get it from?

if it matters i am trying to use Titan_No2Chem_5060_WM6.1

Thanks, Cody

Cody, take out your battery for at least 5 seconds. My first time I just took it out and popped it back in and hard reset. That wasn't long enough. Take it out, wait 5 secs or more, pop battery back in, then hard reset. You should be good after that.
