Hello, I love the Kitchen! I'll donate when I can... poor now, kids come first. So thanks for all the work!!!

2 questions.
1. Can I donate some cabs of various programs to add to the selectable options? (post here/where?)
2. in regards to" ... click on NBHGEN in Tools I get the following error message: "Failed to start tools\nbhgen.exe
The directory is invaild." "
* why the error, if you have time to answer?
* where is the (exact location *vista*)?user/temp folder? .nbh for those of us who prefer flashing from an SD card?

Thanks.

1. To have programs/OEM's considered for addition to the kitchen, upload them somewhere and include a text file that explains what it is and what it does if possible. You could upload them to the PPCGeeks FTP if needed.

2. I believe the path just hasnt been re-written from an older version of Buildos, hence the error. NBHGen can be found in the program directory if you "really" need to use it.
As for the nbh file, it will be under your user account in Document and Settings. on an XP machine, it is found here:
C:\Documents and Settings\Your user account name\Application Data\hIq Inc\PPC-BuildOS\9.05.2.6Temp .
You can find the nbh file there and in the RUU folder under that temp directory "until" you run Buildos again and build another rom. so you could copy it from there to a SD card if thats how you like to flash.

not sure what you mean by "get OEMizer to load when I build a ROM" , but once you add all the settings to the various sections in OEMizer and run it by clicking the Create OEM button at top left, it will add the folder with the name you gave it on that first screen to the USER_OEM directory in the kitchen. Then once you refresh your view in Buildos, it will show up under the OEM section with the same name. If you have already made selections in Buildos, no problem; they will still be there. Then you would just have to go to the OEM section and select your Personal OEM (whatever name you gave it) to have it built into the rom.

All you really need in the first screen is the Name I believe- everything else is automatically filled in for you. You can add a tip so when you hover over it in Buildos it will show you whatever you add there.

Another thing on OEMizer- you can click on the dropdown arrow in the Create OEM button and check either Save Settings as Default, or Always Save Settings on Exit. So if you are always using the same settings there, you can load them right off if you like.

Thanks! That did it! I never clicked on Configure OEM. I always used the drop down arrow.
Edit - "Create OEM" not configure.

Once again - thanks!

can one of the Kitchen Gurus tell me what is your plan of action for build 6061 and beyond? will the official kitchen be officially updated with each updated build?

There will be one last update for 5060 because 5061 was not commited to the svn server to be added yet.

From what I can tell, 5061 couldn't be completed the way no2chem would have liked due to hardware problems he was having so he was asking that everyone be patient for 5062 when he's able to test and finish up fixes like possibly weatherpanel and SIP issues.

If necessary though, we'll update 5060 again in the mean time. But, I'm not sure exactly what you're asking because I just realized you posted in the exact thread where he said it wasn't ready...

If there are no more emergent fixes left to go in before 5061/62 is released.

as far as BT options...that all depends on what you want to do with your bluetooth.

Thanks,

I did not know that. That will help
