I am having a problem where when I flash after building my ROM it works fine at first boot. But if I do a soft reset (or boots) it will hang at splash screen. Going into safe mode works fine. I have literally tried everything. From reloading stock ROM, building a plan ROM and flashing, removed battery and did hard reset,,,, I have searched the threads for 2 days but found nothing. Anyone have any ideas.....

Is anyone else having the problem with the time not syncing? I was just in Cinci and Chicago and couldn't get my phone to automatically pull the correct time?

Pleas help. I have been using the kitchen pretty regulary and now I am having an error starting buildOS. When I hit buildOS, an error box pops up and says "ppc-buildOS has encountered a problem and needs to close" I am on XP. I have tried uninstalling and installing again, sme thing.

When you are checking off your selections making your ROM in the kitchen, one of them is Arcsoft MMS. Now after you flash to the new ROM, youll need to make the registry edits...

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\WspHeader]
accept: application/vnd.wap.multipart.related
useragent: utstar67kv1
X-VzW-MDN: my number

Also in the MMS screen...menu-->tools-->options-->MMS-->servers tab-->tap the server and set it up like this...
Server name: Verizon Wireless
Gateway: {blank}
Port Number: 80
Server Address: http://mms.vtext.com/servlets/mms
Connect Via: Data Network Connect or verizon wireless (or what ever you set up your connection as)
Sending Size limitation: 300 (you can change it to 350, ill find the reg edit)
WAP: WAP 2.0

Thanks much! I just realized I was supposed to use the kitchen, I just installed a ROM. now I'm good to go.

You have this problem even with a unmodified stock rom? That's hard to believe.

I customized my Personal OEM; selected addt'l OEM's and click on NBHGEN in Tools I get the following error message:

Why are you running NBHGen? The only things you need to do is select your OEM from the list, click the play button and it will rebuild. If you're just trying to flash the ROM you've already built, use RUU.

It works fine with stock ROM. Only when using BuildOS.
