Re: Titan Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19209 (Build 19209.1.0.2) aka 5060

I don't have time to compare yet, but are the only fixes in the new selections file the correct file name for the RAR and the addition of the USER_OEM reference? If so I did that on my own, otherwise I want to make whatever other adjustments I need.

The other "issue" I have is simply that I personally like to start from no2chem's own setup (all the stuff he puts standard in his ROMs) and work up from there. So maybe having two selections files for 5060, one clean and one recommended, might be in order? It's just a personal thing, but since I like what he does, and know relatively little about his customizations, I don't like to tempt fate by possibly leaving off something I don't know anything about that's more important than I realize.

Those were the only changes made to selections, yes.

Internet Sharing is the only option you need to choose to boot. No2chem tweaks have been built in. Unhide phone settings, time sync on, move pc-to-usb over to connection settings, hide customer feedback, hide contrast, hide encryption, button defs, and security policies, all built in. The rest are still available as tweaks.

Okay, forget everything I posted before. Internet Sharing was left optional in the release. So, I have no idea why the error pops up. It seemed to only happen on the first load of buildos though.

Re: Titan Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19209 (Build 19209.1.0.2) aka 5060

OK, i have been around and around with un-official releases, work arounds and the such.. you may remember when I posted and stated I would only use official kitchen releases and only update using the updater included with buildOS... I have done that, updated to 5060 and guess what.. it does not work. It installed fine, when I select 5060 it loads ok, untill the errors start about GUID's and missing DSM's. Is there something anyone at all can possibly suggest other than telling me to search, I have read read and read and figured I would ask this here as I know, asking these kinds of questions before the official release was absolutely pointless, I hope for better results now thank you in advance.

Examples: Internal Error - Option.xml GUID not found (nueHibernate - fffffffff-blah-blah-blah-blah) then one after the other, Disable Application Security, AD2P hack, Button Definitions etc etc etc etc etc

Then is comes to Set GlyphCache to 32KB where it says Duplicate GUID

Then all this is left in the log after the errors are done.

All of those no2chem oems you have in USER_OEM are unnecisary and already included. (See post 13)
That should fix it.

I understand that, but I didn't put them there.. all I did was use Updater to get the 5060 stuff and that happened..

*edit also, I looked in my USER_OEM directory, and there are 0 No2 folders/files located in there.

You are using the selections.txt from the other 5060 that came out before. These errors are because these selections are saved in this selections.txt. However, these OEMs are not present in the kitchen.

Nice job guys! The oems were cleaned up as far as categories and its very nice now. You guys just dont stop.

I've been meaning to share some OEMs. I promise to get on it soon, one of them will be Wmodem for the titan and I made up some MS game packs too.
