Re: Any way to confirm GPS and EVDO-A functionality?

i checked my settings and it said Rev A -disable... I lefted it alone. I live in the suburbs and the maps show i should have Rev A service out here but my connection is no faster than my wifes Treo.. I went to San Francisco and my speeds increased dramatically, probably doubled my speeds.. bottom line is i dont think you have to mess with the ##778# setting. Your signal should automatically pick up Rev A if its available

so why am i only getting downloads of ~300 when i check it on my phone? seems to be slow. on verizon in brooklyn, ny and almost always shows evdo

I have already made the ##778 change before i read this post did i do any harm? Should i change it back or leave it alone? I haven't seen any speed difference.
