GPS Upgrade Fails Phone Possibly Bricked Please Help
Any help would be very much appreciated.
I was attempting to upgrade my phone to gps capabilities using this guide http://www.phonenews.com/how-to-add-...00-titan-2663/ Everything was working fine but i accidentally skipped the step after running the unlocker, (Once it has been completed, launch the device’s software update. Follow the instructions on screen for the updater.), and went straight to running the baseband radio firmware update and finished. I don't know how i missed it but i did. After several hours of frantic tinkering trying to get back to the original rom, i think im completely screwed. I am stuck at the alltel carrier screen, cant connect to activesync so i dont know how to load the original rom, i can get into the bootloader i have used the exit bootloader utility but still gets stuck at alltel screen on restart i have tried the relocker but cant connect to activesync Sorry for the lengthy paragraph but would be extremely grateful for any help. |

the thing you should do is download a sprint official rom and then a custom rom...hold down the power, camera, soft reset button and will restart in the blue/red/white screen then the usb should work...download the install from the htc mogul update site and then install dcd kitchen and click your carrier and make a rom there you goo, hope that helps boo

My phone was stuck on the Alltel logo at boot and when I booted to the bootloader and tried to run the Alltel stock firmware from Windows it would only go a few percent and then fail. I had to extract the nbh firmware file from the alltel exe file, copy it to an SD card and then start the phone in bootloader mode. Thankfully this worked and it put the phone back to factory operation. Here is what I had to do:
