I'm afraid I may just have to set a minimum power requirement to keep the device alive while GPS is enabled.
Thanks for the update. Must say that I've just thrown it in as a tab within PocketBreeze and absolutely love it. Thanks for your hard work on this!

I haven't forgotten about you guys! I am currently in the middle of moving to a new house, so I expect to have everything setup and a new version released sometime in May or early June.

That sounds like an interesting idea, I'll have to ask no2chem about how feasible it is and look into it.

Re: BAF GPS Toggle, Beta Version 1

i have a question. i'm new to PPCGeeks, but have been a regular on PDAPhoneHome and XDA-Developers. For those of you familiar with BAF GPS can you help answer a few questions. I was noticing a bad leak in my memory with DCD 3.0.4, but realized it was because of my GPS. I went to my phone settings, and turned off my location.

My question is i'm not really understanding BAF. I installed it, when i click GPS on and check my location settings, it is still set to off. Is it supposed to toggle this to the on position.

How are you guys leaving your "phone location" settings?

thanks

Re: BAF GPS Toggle, Beta Version 1

This program is working splendid for my HTC TOUCH/Vogue. I have no issues either when it goes to sleep. Never had an error notification either, but maybe you should set the it to keep the phone awake while it is running. Just like the navigation software does, this should do also. Most of use who use GPS need our phone awake anyways so maybe this will remind us to shut it off when we notice our phone not going to sleep cuase I find myself forgetting to turn it off after using my GPS system.

Either way, this isnt a complaint since my phone has no issues so far with the GPS Toggle. You should make it an option like it is on the other GPS programs.

I have my location set to on, my External GPS settings set to COM 4, Baud 4800, and Manage GPS Automatically to ON or checked. All I do is click on GPS Toggle to turn it on, then turn on my Navigation software (iGO 8 ) and by the time iGO is ready to go the GPS is up and running thanks to Baf's GPS Toggle. Mind you, I have a Sprint HTC Touch, not a Mogul. But it should work similarly.

Great app BAF

Re: BAF GPS Toggle, Beta Version 1

PLEASE HELP!! (I understand this program is for the Mogul but I wanted to see if it was possible for the Wing.)
I have a Tmobile Wing running ROM 4.26.531.1. I have installed GPSToggle and restarted my phone. Tried soft reset and even hard reset but continue to get "Error 55" when I try to toggle the "GPS: On" with the Today screen. Is anyone out there that can help. I also have HTC Mogul which this program works great. Thx to the moderator !!!!

I don't think the Wing has GPS, so this program won't work for your wing.
