Yes, the mainboard was originally issued to USC.
Since you are unable to use your data function, you should tell CS that you want a replacement XV6800 that has not been reworked so many times.
If you push hard enough, you may get a new XV6800.
I know they still have them, I just paid $50.oo (after a bleeding heart discount) and a contract renwal. (I had 1yr left).
But I have 5 lines (2 XV6800s). And been paying $160.oo a mo. for over a yr. now.
Worst case, you could end up with a TP, if thats what you really want. (Not Me).

Question Re: Restoring your xv6800 to a Stock Verizon ROM

Will this work for a phone that I have put a standalone GPS rom on? my keyboard went out and just got my replacement from Verizon. I am running rom 3.08 radio 3.42 and don't want to brick it just before I send it in.

Re: Restoring your xv6800 to a Stock Verizon ROM

I am trying to begin this process but for the titan relocker I keep having issues copying things over during the relock. It asks for yes try copying again, No ignore the copy, or cancel. Only two that work are NO and Cancel. Will this be a problem?

Flashed the relocker and now it is stuck in the BOOTLOADER screen and unable to load a verizon default rom. What to do? Not sure I know what I need. Please help.

You load the rom from the bootloader screen. Simply run the ruu from bootloader.

Well the mr2 image will block your gps. Unless you are just relocking to return to verizon.

Re: Restoring your xv6800 to a Stock Verizon ROM

No I was trying to find a way to get the other image to work and get me out of the bootloader mode. Seems my putting the nbh file into the RUU does not get passed 1% install without giving an Error [328]

Re: Restoring your xv6800 to a Stock Verizon ROM

Tell me something though..... after flashing this rom I now have

ROM: 3.57.605.2
RADIO: 3.37.78
PRI: 2.03_002

Will this still be blocking my gps or am I good to go on flashing a new radio and dcd's 4.1.2 ROM?

Re: Restoring your xv6800 to a Stock Verizon ROM

No you must flash the stock rom included in the link on first page. Then go straight to custom. Installing MR1/2 will block gps.
