I don't recall all the details, but I think that some dedicated souls around these forums spent a lot of time taking the word "BETA" out, so that we could use it without being reminded of what it is. I'm sorta shocked that anyone thought this was an official release... Doesn't the 3.16 thread that is stickied on this forum say "NOT OFFICIAL RELEASE" in the title?

I really don't mean to sound condescending, I'm just wondering if I missed the point or something here...

This is something like my 10th post, and I find it insulting that someone else wants us to hold his hand, step by step, through upgrading his phone. If you can figure it out don't do it. Sometimes people wear out the innocent newbie tag when just a little reading will answer questions.
