Re: Alltel new ROM help.
I am running DCD 2.1.0
How do you change the PRL? I tried the soft reset but not a hard reset yet. Will it go back to stock if I hard reset? |

Re: Alltel new ROM help.
Your device will not revert back to original rom after hard reset. But a hard reset may clear the issue.
Also, you can visit here Corolada's PRL page and download any of many PRL's. If you have the EPST in your \windows dir you can upload it through there. You can also change it by hitting *775 (I think). You may need to research this a little to be sure. But once you download a PRL to your device, you can initiate it by any of these (2) means... |

Re: Alltel new ROM help.
I switched my PRL to 40036 and 30031 and neither of them worked. When it did show that I had EV I would get the message that my phone was unable to connect. Most of the time the EV bars will dissappear then it will switch to 1x and connect. Maybe I should try a diffrent ROM? Oh and I also tried a hard reset(
