Gosh I hate to be mean but let me tip my hat over for you.
1. lurk and read, read , read, read, read and once you think you read everything read again, then before you do anything go over the steps in your head on paper and then read some more. When you don't understand something write it down then read more and you will start to come across it. When still stuck you search the net. It is possible someone is just not computer smart enough to attempt this stuff in which case they need not do it in the first place until they have adiquitly educated themselves. The beauty of the net is knowledge is free!

2. When you ask queshtions you don't ask for spoon fed crap. When ur desiring the knowledge that others have work for you ask for direction and pointers and small explanations of specific things to put you on the right path.

When you follow this code people are more then happy to help you and point you into the right direction. We are not your mommy here or anywhere.

Your talking down to me because I'm not as advance in this area as you are. However, do you know how to rebuild a car engine, can you bench 450 ibs., create your own website "www.tradegames45.com", or get seriously in gears of war. So just because you have more knowledge in this area than me does not give you the right to talk down to me. I have been reading all the forums that I could find on this subject. However, I still do not feel secure attempting the upgrade. That's why I wanted a step by step tutorial. So if you are not lending a helping hand please keep all these wack comments to yourself.

anyway, just search and check out the stickies. i've lent an earful of advice to save you from receiving the same criticism in the event you make another thread asking the same question a hundred others ask without giving an honest effort in finding the info yourself.

Dear Lester, there already is a step by step tutorial, in fact there are at least two threads detailing the process. I know because I took the time to read and follow them, and was successful. Make the effort.

I do not doubt that you "know how to rebuild a car engine, can...bench 450 ibs.(sic), create your own website ..., or get seriously in gears of war" (what is that last one?), but apparently you have not spent much time building your skills in anger management or reading comprehension. Put down the weights long enough to look near the top of the page that was on your computer screen when you created this thread, and read and figure out what the thread titles mean. And try to stay calm; when you need help is not the time to exhibit your steroid-fueled hostility and aggression.

If you cannot find enough information to make yourself comfortable flashing an upgrade ROM, then just don't do it.

Umm yes I own a performance and fabrication shop. Yes I am also a professional athlete in motocross. Yes I program in several languages and have enough web pages developed to make myself sick including compiled programs that I have wrote.

So before jumping around again like an ignorant 13yr old stop being lazy and ask for help in a manner that will yield results. No one is going to spoon feed you.

Clearly you don't want peace. You want to keep picking fights. No, I can't rebuild a car engine, but I have no need to. I can't bench 450 lbs and don't see the relevance, as that doesn't take knowledge, just years of repetitive exercise. I've created many, many web sites and even had the piece of mind to remember standard web rules like not to put auto-playing music on my page, not to use backgrounds that are too busy to read the text over, to test the page in multiple resolutions to make sure it doesn't look like crap in ones other than my native resolution, and to use graphics that wouldn't look at home in 1992. To be fair, though, I've never gotten seriously in Gears of War. Wouldn't even know how to get seriously. My 360 RRoDed when I had that on rental, so I didn't get the opportunity to finish it, so clearly never got far enough to understand how to get seriously.

But what you keep requesting from this thread is exactly what already exists, and you've been pointed to time and time again. I knew as little about this topic when I first started here, and now I flash my ROM almost weekly. Now I don't feel comfortable with kitchens yet, which is why I haven't played with them much, but that's different. But the multiple step-by-step tutorials for flashing ROMs are more than helpful enough to get you where you need to go, and by reading and learning and watching what's going on you should be able to piece it together. If you can't do it from everything you've been given in the stickies and by searching the board, you clearly have a comprehension issue that suggests to me that you shouldn't be attempting to flash your ROM yourself. That's not our faults. We're not douchebags simply because you may have reading comprehension issues.

Take the time, read the referenced threads, and think carefully. If some of those threads didn't exist, and if you weren't being so incredibly hostile to the people you were asking for help, I might be on your side. But everything you asked for is already available, and you're being a jerk to people who are usually quite helpful when asked intelligent questions.
