Noobie: How do I update rom on htc mogul?
 

Can someone please tell me how to upgrade my rom to the 6.1 windows mobile? Can someone please tell me step for step because I have no I idea what a kitchen and bootloader is.

No ones answering you probably because this is a real easy question for you to answer on your own if you just search a little bit. But here I'll enable ya,,,,,,,,

6.1 is over rated you should just use the 3.16 and install codyppc threaded messages (Google Search) if thats all you want. From what I see thats Pretty much the only thing different between WM6 and WM 6.1 is threaded messages. Im sure there are other small differences..Most of the 6.1 roms are built from the leaked 3.16 rom.

Seriously...there are already so many posts on this forum with the same topic. If you do some SEARCHING, and using your own eyes, you'll see there are guides and many other topics regarding this question.

Use the search function, and take a look at the stickies at the top of this particular forum, before making unnecessary threads...

i have been searching for two weeks. there is alot of terminology that i don't understand. thats why i made the thread. if i knew what i was doing then i wouldn't ask. So please finf another way to spend your time being a douch bag.

I'll have to strongly disagree on 6.1 being overrated. My phone performs drastically better on 6.1 than it ever did on any 6.0 build, including the leaked 3.16.

If you don't understand the terminology and such regarding the process of flashing your phone, you probably shouldn't be doing it. And it took you two weeks of searching for a tutorial on how to even flash it?? There's one stickied at the top of the forum!!

So before you go around calling people douche bags because of your illiteracy, take my initial advice and either SEARCH, or READ the forums in which you are posting your nonsense.

WOW, this dude is just getting reemed. At first I was going to post a smart ass remark just for him being a n00b but after reading all these replies I am starting to feel sorry for the guy. Don't worry tradegames45.com, I got your back dawg.

P.S. But seriously, how could you not see all the stickies when you first loaded the page, and like someone said, if its that confusing then its not worth it to even try to flash.
