Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...

you'll probably need to either hard reset, or stop the driver and reinstall it... 1.2 had a bug with not closing registry handles,..

Wink Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...

Great fun little app. I just wanted the signal to flash blue instead of green and it works great.

HOWEVER, I dream of someone taking this to the next level.
Here's the scene:
You're in a bar trying to hook up with a lady. You jokingly tell her you are undercover police or FBI or whatevery. When she scoffs, you whip out your "badge" (which is just a background pic of a badge on your phone.) then push a button to get the blue and red LEDs to flash alternately.
Then say "I'm going to have to take you downtown for a strip search."

At the very least, you got a conversation going!

Somehow i think that would lead you to the path of sleeping alone.

For me, i just dream of the day when the registers can be found that allow this app to truly disable the charging LEDs while allowing the notification LED to still operate.

Just crack your mogul open and swap out a green one for a white one!

Has anyone figured out the Police Mod for this yet? Red then blue led alternative flashing instead of green signal LED flashing?

I'm thinking that is way beyond what this program is capable of. It can't really control timers and seperate RBG inputs to the LED, instead it just swaps or cancels the programmed "routes" for each pre-programmed notification function.
I'm not saying that this kind of programming is beyond no2chem, it just seems like it would take some serious downtime to work all that out. (And isn't no2chem busy enough fulfilling all our other needs?)

While farting around with other addresses, I found a weird result on Addr 4 Mode 8.
It blinks yellow a few times before red flashes and kills it.
This has me curious about why only modes 0-1-2 are cycled through when performing the auto test. Can we get it to cycle through more modes?

In case no one else has tried it: Addr 2, Mode 1 will produce a more steady yellow blinking light that works well as a signal LED. However I thinks it looks more tacky than the green one.

1.5b correctly cycles by bit shifting, IE 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 etc. note 1.5b is currently only available in my rom until i have time to upload an updated version.. stroths, you could pull the exe out of the basekit (its the only thing thats changed)
